Firstly thanks to Leon for nominating me.

I appreciated your comments on my previous tenure mate.

As I only recently finished being a mod on here and the feedback seems to be the lack of trust or openness of the existing mod team on here, I feel I'd be seen in that category. So I feel it would not be the new era that members seem to want if I stood.

Pleasure Ges....you were the ideal candidate IMO but I can understand the reasons for your decision mate

I haven't rejected it since i was suprisingly nominated....i did say this on the 'Bygones' thread though :

"Do those who pm me to blow off steam do so because :

they relate to me being a familiar face on here

realise i'll be sympathetic to their views/needs & offer good advice

Who knows why ? as i said in my previous post i have no power or voice & i don't wish to have one but i'm always prepared to listen to someone if they have a beef about something"

It's an honour to be considered but in my humble opinion i thought Ges was a better candidate for the vacant role, i've remained very quiet on the subject until now. Ges & I discussed the whole matter in depth this afternoon & he encouraged myself to take on the mod role, in the end Ges made the decision to withdraw from the nominated list as he explained in his post above

Ironically Mrs 64 does blow-dry my mop of hair & also gives me that spikey look
