Not sure if we have the means to do that. If we did, we should sign Shearer, Henry, Strachan all on £20,000 a week player contracts that means they can't be sold for ten years. They'd all sign no problem, then we make them 15 years younger and take the world by storm... although the more I think about it, the less chance Brown has of making the team.

The same mould, smarty pants! I hoped Lenighan might have stepped up this season or next, but I think he's been kept out of the spotlight because of his court case...
We just need that persistent bite in midfield. Rudy can do the same job as Brown has done, he just goes missing!

It seems to be his account, although it's not a verified account.
And that tweet is not on his timeline, so was either:
(a) deleted - which could be for a number of reasons (confidentiality / tweeted by a hacker) or
(b) the result of photoshop.

Rumour going around on TeamTalk that we have signed Matthew Briggs from Fulham, 23 yr old left back who can also play centre back and left wing. Taken with recent tweets from Cellino Jr, perhaps things are moving already?

I reckon his lack of matches suggests an attitude problem. He showed enough promise as a young player to be used as the youngest player ever in the PL... But considering we'd not heard of him in the 7 years since, he's clearly not progressed that much!
