Just thought I'd start it off slightly early!
One of Cellino's lads has started it off for us, claiming that the following will be coming to Leeds.
Davide Astori.... 27 yr old Italian defender, 6ft 2 inches tall (in case you like your CBs tall.
Victor Ibarbo.... 23 yr old Columbian striker, supposed to be lightning quick.
Adryan..... 20 yr old Brazilian attacking midfielder (currently on loan from Flamengo?)
There we go, the first of many.

There's a rumour that some posts may be trasferred to a separate thread.

How's about a thread just for rumours - and then post individual threads about any ACTUAL signings. IF and when they happen?

Agree, otherwise any actual signings will get suffocated by the deluge of rumours that are to be expected with our new owner in charge.

This one, about Southend goalkeeper
Daniel Bentley has cropped up several times - and is more believable than a load of internationals from Cagliari

Read that, dismissed it.
McCormack alone is worth more than that.

Well if that's true Smith would be only £200,000 always knew Ross is worth a bit.

Didn't our last chairman try to get his mate's son as a player in at Leeds, just cos he was thought (as boss), he could?
Eduardo can fek right off trying to get his mates in..FFS.

What even happened to that Lad who came over on loan but then it wasnt ratified by the FL haha,
Ibarbo is lightening quick think how Pacey Max Gradel used to be for leeds, he runs at players which is something we are severly lacking abit of penetration.

Can't see it being true tbh although they are two of a few players in our squad who have a price tag on them

Dismiss it Martyn, it is still a rumour even if there is little substance in it
I personally doubt we'll get more than £5m for Ross & if that offer came along I would snap a clubs hand off !

I think we could easily get £6 Million for Ross. West Ham, Leicester, Palace, Cardiff (again) all rumoured to want him. Time for a bidding war.

But Leon, who then is going to get us 30 goals next season ?! Very very hard finding strikers who are capable of scoring that many goals and remember Ross has achieved it in an otherwise woeful team. Also, it will probably cost us just as much to find that replacement striker. So why sell ?!

I'm certain there'll be a bidding war, so who knows what price he'll go for !
I do think £6m is alot of dosh for a striker who is small in physique & has no pace particularly plying his trade in the prem

Just think there'll be plenty of prem clubs sniffing around ER come the end of the season even though I think Ross will struggle at that level, he'll go this time !
So we'll just have to find another striker or two

We did with Beckford & Becchio, Watford found Vydra, Burnley first snapped up Austin sold him & then signed Ings, Palace found 30 goals man Murray, Rhodes bettered every striker at Huddersfield.
Goalscorers are out there, I personally would like to see two strikers scoring for fun rather than be relient on one man as has been the case at Leeds this season
