Would like to see a few of the players who did not get a game on saturday given a run out.No matter what team we put out we should be strong enough to beat Chesterfield but then again we are Leeds United and have never done things easy.

Id like to see Smith and Poleon start upfront if im honest - When they came on on saturday they seemed to work well together - Smith as target man taking extra defenders to mark him giving poleon the space to run at space.

Is dawson back from his injury? wouldnt mind seeing him given a chance again. Hall and white on the wings too

I know it wasn't the normal starting XI but it wasn't a great performance. Some bright sparks but a lot to work on? MOTM? Brown possibly.

Motm elite competition Brown (by some margin from a very poor bunch all in all). All credit to Chesterfield. We could have lost 2 but we have won them both so fair does but there's plenty for BM to tackle. If Green plays like that again he'll be lucky to start. CBs - oh dear. Two cracking shots for the goals, Brown's unlikely to be bettered all season. Smith should thrive against this level of opposition. Should have scored early on, after that looked clumsy. No doubt he will be fine but he will need to improve. Only real class on show, Murphy when he eventually arrived. Ross at the front of a diamond/rear of a triangle - didn't we look weaker defensively from that point on? Makes you wonder if we're not fishing for buyers (I know what BM said post match but I trust no one in football and the interest in Ross is odd IMO).

Big improvement required for Sunday.

Comedy moment, Chesterfield singing ' your support is . . . .' Don't they know we are all united on a roller coaster of elation and optimism. Decent turn out from Derbyshire. They should enjoy success this year on that showing.

Michael Brown looked entirely uninterested until their goal went in, then he looked ok for the rest of the game.

Hard to pick a motm for me. Our full backs stood out as especially poor. Green looked energetic as usual but got caught in possession too often, seemed a little out of character for me.

Smith looked god awful. Out of his depth against League Two opposition.

Poleon was a threat, as ever, the more I see of him the more excited I get about what he could do for us this season.

How many managers are going to persist with Aidy White before somebody says enough is enough and sells him? Good on the ball, pacey, getting better at taking his man on but no end product at all. So poor at picking out a pass that he shouldn't be anywhere near the tip of the diamond.

6 years (I think?) on from his debut and progress is too slow. Ship him out, might give us the money to get an ACTUAL winger in. He's an asset that is likely to sell as well.

Poleon was a threat, as ever, the more I see of him the more excited I get about what he could do for us this season.

Could Poleon be the man to really make a break through this season and net 15-20 goals in the league? I will admit that I havent had the chance to watch any of our preseason games or the brighton game (one of downsides of living down under!) but all commentary and analysis seems to suggest that he has been a key player and developed a lot compared to last season.
