Well, 3 much needed points in the bag.

After the first 10 minutes or so my view was that Newcastle were a team that were desperate and dirty. No surprise Leeds got the first yellow card despite so many Newcastle contenders beforehand.... I was beginning to think that Wilson must be the ref's love child

Disappointed that Pablo didn't come on. Not that impressed with Roberts or Klich and how much has Llorente cost us so far for 2 games in which he hasn't managed to complete either?

Who the f**k is Saint Maximin or whatever his name is? The TV commentators were absolutely creaming their pants over him! All I saw was a bit of pace and then falling over!

We need backup for Klich, Dallas in there isn't the answer though

TBH It's mostly what I see from Paddy week in week out. Goals aside I don't think he adds much. Very poor first touch and I could find hundreds examples of that, weak in the air up front,. Doesn't hold up very well and his movement often takes him out of a play rather than puts him in play. Roberts has had virtually zero playing time playing the 9 in the last two years but you can just see he's a natural striker and will allow others to play around him a lot more.

we may miss Paddy's penalty taking though

Concerning that Bamford has gone over the edge of a cliff it terms of form...but that's what he does.

We do but signing a back up is tough MB has already said he only wants better than what we have..I'd be looking long and hard at Jenkins

Too true. I said to Mr Swan that a penalty would have been given against us in that situation

I’ll be happy to laud him when he actually scores a few, he lacks an edge for me since he came though he’s a skilful ball player.

Harrison’s work rate in most games cannot be faulted - yes, he’s frustrating at times, but that’s why Bielsa starts him.
s**t I forgot Harrison in the MOTM thread

We were ok with the opening them up going forward, it was the stopping them walking through the middle of midfield which was the issue. Thought Roberts did ok to be honest.

Llorente has missed 12 games this season, missed 4 last, 14 the season before. Seems a bit of a crock.

Not too concerned we struggled in the second half.

Newcastles season is going down the tubes and those players dreadrelegation. They had to throw caution to the wind against us.

Being forced to play KP as CB and losing him as a screen makes playing man to man almost impossible, especially against quicker stronger players.

But we won.

I'd put Raphinha on pens, he's ice cool in front of goal.

As good as Rodrigo was tonight, having an extra midfielder in there would have given us the control we didn't have in the second half.
Every game I predict a 3 - 1 Leeds win, I am traditional like that.
