In the end we got out of jail in a game we should have put to bed in the first 15th minutes.

Well done Farke for blowing any chance of grabbing a winner subbing both our pacy wingers James & Gnonto, killed any momentum we had left in the tank.
Well we actually created that chance but I think had he kept the wingers on Portsmouth wouldn't have had the pressure leading up to the pen. Farke slowed the game right down by adding the carthorse pace of Piroe and Bamford, Rothwell was not in Gruev's class, (still don't see why Rothwell was acquired personally but early days, might need game time etc,)

I've lost count of the times Farke has taken off our best player in the name of his "chaos" football (which has never really worked once for us) It's chaos for us, the other team loves it

Us or Marseille I reckon, we probably offer more money but Marseille take him out of division for Norwich. They'll see us as competitors

Today he made substitutions but we were much weaker
Their left back took down James for a penalty, then took down James for a yellow. He was there for the taking and we took off our wingers.
We're often critical that they're not the right substitutions. A simple Aaronson (attacking 8) for Gruev (holding 8) would have been the first look on around 60 ..

Be another Jimmy, where Farke expects him to do everything, while the opposition mark him out of the game. We really need a Pablo replacement more than anything.

I'd have Paddy come on alongside Joseph in a two up front, for me it's not one or the other if chasing the game..

You're not a Geo fan are you? ... Forgot that. In which case from your point of view we do. I get that, I'm a Geo believer so I'm ok with him as the creator in midfield.

I thought we looked more disjointed after the subs came on. Not sure what some people expect who constantly demand early subs. Damned if he doesn’t make the subs and now damned if he does. I thought bringing on Bamford was pointless though in hindsight. He looked miles off the pace. But the alternative is to let our biggest earner get splinters.

The facts for me are that we had more than enough chances to win the game. Our set pieces looked good for the first 15 mins and then became similar to last season. Poor deliveries a plenty from players in good positions throughout the game. It was a strange result considering the context of the game.

He's good but poor end product hurts us more than helps us.

I thought we were great today, A new team pretty much, and we seem to have solved all our problems re finishing no need to sign a good striker or a number 10
. 68% possession and still not winning is just a statistic after all. I don't think having Gray Summerville and Kamara would have made any difference.
I am delighted with what I've seen so far, and automatic Promotion is almost a dead cert.
Come Farke , come on 49 ers Here we go

Threw himself to the ground before the pen taker kicked it.

Make the right subs? Positively impact the game?

Not have 0 impact or make us worse.

Removing all our pace in attack was strange.
