Bollocks!

So that's why Firpo didn't start in the U21s last night

No coverage at LB. Not even in the youth system. With Hjelde injured Frupo is the only LB in the seniors and the youth system. Harrison and Ayling seem only other options.

Not sure why Drameh has never been tried. He was reported as a RB and LB when we signed him.

Would make sense to ask him if he wants to play there, similar to Struyjk wouldn't be his first choice position but does give him the opportunity to start matches in the premier league. Won't happen though as he played for the U21s the other night.

It's OK, Firpo will be injured or suspended after the Foxes game, then it's time to dip into the peg bag.

God helps us if we lose Adams.

H'mmm so if we lost Adams, Koch and Bamford why would some be worried, it's only the spine of the team and Orta's bought us loads of replacements  Seems a little weird as most seemed to think we'd be ok last year without a spine.

Leicester are without Ndidi, Jonny Evans, Caglar Soyuncu, Timothy Castagne, Ricardo Perreira, Ryan Bertrand and James Maddison.

From what Jesse was saying he sees real qualities in Firpo.

Perfect chance for him then tomorrow night, although he will be rusty with one pre season game under his belt.

After no win in six this game is already a must not lose. With Rogers likely to get the sack if Leicester are defeated, it is going to be a tough game. We have performed well in the last couple of matches but need to turn promise into points this time.
I pretty much agree with Faiips team, but would definately play Bamford rather than Gelhardt. He caused Arsenal all sorts of problems with his presence and is just a goal away from getting his confidence back. Summerville should play in my view, he has moved up the ranks and looked speedy and tricky when I have watched him. At some point these players need to be given a proper chance. Very worrying if Streijk is injured, Firpo is never going to be a Premier league defender in my view. Still need a specialised Left Back, and a Target Man up front on our January shopping list. Then we can let Llorente, Firpo, Rodrigo, James and Roberts go.

So Firpo will get the start at LB. The other question mark is who starts up top? After thinking about Gelhardt to start with Paddy off the bench I'm going to flip flop that. And Rodrigo sits on the bench next to Lloriente unless there is an emergency.

Many are calling this a "must win". I will be more than happy to pick up a point in this match...

Is Bamford finally 90mins match fit?. Where will Rodrigo play? What type of injury only lasts 2 weeks? cos Firpo seems to get them alot. I'm all for Jiffy upfront. Will raise his game, bag full of energy, unpredictable and shoots to score albeit somewhat prematurely at times.

Oddly i'm not confident for this one but is that because of LC previous achievements? Lets hope so.

It's strange that Drameh has never even played LB for the reserves in the 2+ years he's been here. Maybe he doesn't want to. Or maybe next plan is Ayling at LB and Drameh covering at RB.

The match is on Prime tonight so I should get an uninterrupted, real-time viewing.

We seem to struggle against speedy forwards and Vardy is as quick as they come. Other than that I don’t think there is much to fear from Leicester - a victory would be a good, timely confidence booster and would set us up nicely for the Fulham game.

6pts from these two games is what I’m looking for then we can start looking up the table rather than down.

Come on Leeds!

Nine points in our next five games would take us up to eighteen points before we break-up for the World Cup, we should have been nearer that total be now if we hadn't badly screwed up.

Victories vs Leicester, Fulham & Bournemouth would be sufficient, these are teams around us we have to take maximum points, bonus points if we pick anything up against Liverpool & Spurs.

Absolutely no excuses tonight then if they're without their two first choice CB's and their most influential player in Madison.

I'm fully expecting Leicester to suddenly transform into Man City for 90 minutes tonight.

Of course they will, it’s rare we ever meet a team having an off day, can only really think of Chelsea in the recent past.

Bloody hell Paul, i agree with your team but not the fact you'd settle for a draw.

This is absolutely must win territory, Leicester are shite and depleted what more could we ask, we don't wanna get dragged down there, it's also a massive confidence booster after Arsenal to get the team back on track and full of it going up against Fulham, we've got to be aiming for 6 points from these two or we really are struggling.
