So GS decides to play Grealish(the diver) ahead of Foden. Nothing more to say

Hopefully we both go through as easily the best 2 in the group. You definitely deserved the win though.

I think when Bobby Robson had England losing every single group game in a Euros, or Capello and Hodgson had them pretty much booking flights home by now, they didn't get as much stick as Southgate!

England have one world class player, Kane, one player that looks the part, Bellingham, and Foden which the media there insists is the next big thing but so far he's gone missing in big games for club and country.

I presumed Foden must have an injury otherwise it was crying out for him

Yes they did. Capello and Hodgson got far more stick than Southgate ever did.

Southgate is clueless. He has no CV & no understanding of tactics at this level. He’s been outthought tonight yet again.

If we had a Striker the quality of Harry Kane we would be a very dangerous team. Our forwards are just not up to the standard...

He was dire once again Paul. Been stealing a living for England for 4 years now. Remove the penalties and the goal tally is very low.

I'd say that, in terms of results in major tournaments, he is their best manager ever. Certainly the best since Ramsey.
