We are a lower PL team around in the table with teams like our self's.

Teams around us have spend 300-400 million in the last few years eg Everton.

It was a good performance with great play from Gnoto and co
Because changing manager means a sudden charge up the table lol. We're where we should be tbh, probably should be bottom with our resources.

JM could actually put in a tackle back in the day. If he wants to put on the kit and slot in at LB. . . ;-)

We've not moved forward, we are exactly where we were. In trouble!
Except generally we are competitive in every game, and don't get thumped 7-0.

It's that defence shipping 2 goals every single game that's the real issue. Gnonto and Sinisterra on the wings will give us plenty of attacking impetus eventually. And at least Bamford is back now. It's that defence that needs sorting. Maybe Aaronson dropped too. Struijk needs dropping immediately.

I hope Marsch is in the dressing room apologising to the lads. He should be saying, "Sorry lads you played really well but once again my sh*t tactics saw us being ripped open. I once again f*cked up by moving Struyjk from left back into centreback last week and then back to left back this week, I totally fucked up his positional sense. I once again picked Aaronsen and then confounded the error by not making him the first player I took off. I have also f*cked about with Wobber playing him now in 3 different positions in less than 90 minutes of action."

Cause our players are afraid of shooting when we're in a good position, hence why we c**k up our chances

Why can't the owners see what we can see? Needed a good LB and a striker for 18 months. These are the 2 positions that keep letting us down. We don't score enough and we concede goals on the right side of defence. I'm phuk'd off with a relegation fight every phukn season!

I know I sound like I want him gone but I hate changing manager mid season, I just want JM to rethink his selections, substitutions and adjust the defensive tactics

Niners will pull the plug though if they now have the majority vote

Gutted, lots of ifs and buts. However, we cannot dominate games and come away with nothing. The way we concede is just madness. Someone has to take one for the team near the half way line when they break our lines at speed or at least try and disrupt the play. Happens generally when Adams is out of position, as he is a beast at doing what no one else can.

Neville creamed himself over Gnonto all game, even tried to sell him to City at one point, then gave MOM to Bailey for one moment.

Its a stinger that is. Forget the performance no one will remember that without any points to show for it. Villa were there for the taking, they are shite at the back and yet we somehow come away with nothing again. Sickener

And yet we're talking about spending a super-inflated 20 mill on a midfielder at the moment. The problem with the team is blindingly obvious. Spend at the back.

Knew that prick would be trying to sell him. Fook off. They can find their own players.

CHAPELALLMAN wrote: Fri Jan 13, 2023 10:08 pm Totally agree - why the hell didn't he start Wober ? That's hopefully the last we will see of Struijk at LB.
Jesse picked Pascal as captain last week so would have lost too much face if he had dropped him this week.

Did he? What an absolute twat. If you don’t think Gnonto was the best player on the pitch then you’re not a football fan
