This a must win game and we must put out the strongest possible team. Playing a makeshift side like we did at Cardiff is just asking for trouble.
Plus i think as well as win it we need to show some decent football and not just get lucky.

Got to put out a strong team to start tomorrow both for giving ourselves the best chance to win, for confidence, and for forging some kind of defensive reliability. Ideal situation is to put them to the sword, score a few, and then bring on replacements who need to build match fitness but should be considered PL matchday contenders e.g. Bamford and Sinisterra.

For that reason my team to start would be:

Meslier
Ayling
Koch
Wober
Firpo
Adams
Roca
Aaronson
Harrison
Gnonto
Rodrigo

Everything going well, I would sub in Kristensen, Bamford, Sinisterra, Greenwood, and probably Struijk. Had Gelhardt not been touted to go out on loan, then he would see significant minutes as a starter or sub.

Obviously this is Leeds, and nothing will be easy.

He's living on borrowed time at the moment and the knives are sharp as a razor for him.

We struggle to score and are an absolute shambles at the back.

If he wants to save his job he'll need to play his strongest team tonight and against Brentford.

Brentford are having a great season and are well organized, so he needs to get us playing cohesively tonight and stop the goal haemorrhage.

I just can't see us succeeding long term, even if he scrapes a few wins.

At least the new boss will have some good players to work with, if he can manage to keep us up.

But the song remains the same for me, we need a massive clear out of the dross in this squad. Extending Llorente's contract was a clear indicator that the guys at the top are still happy to reward mediocrity.

But Llorente and co won't save Jesse, just like they didn't save Marcelo.

We're just prolonging the agony at the moment, and I believe that's down to our board not accepting reality again.

But I also consider the ebb and flow of matches, where if we'd taken the good chances we've created that would put doubt in the opposition's mind, and the match and result can turn.

But as long as this car crash defending continues anything we're doing going forward is undermined. The matches against Cardiff and Villa are the latest examples of our vulnerability.

I think Jesse has two matches to save his skin by stopping the goal glut.

If he can't do that, then next please. As this is getting to be tedious when we're seeing sides just roll us over without much effort.

I hope he can succeed, but I'm not convinced of that and this is ten a half months down the line.

I agree, a win is a must tonight for Marsch and preferably a good, convincing win at that to build a bit of momentum for an even more crucial game (for Marsch) against Brentford. Anything less than a win tonight and at least a draw this weekend will probably see the back of him.
