Paddy's movement, running off the ball & work rate often goes unnoticed, defending from the front is so important for our set-up.

My junior high school coach would have benched me for that. "Shut up and play," he would tell me, "Let me yell at the ref,"

At a random bar in Metz, surrounded by French folk celebrating the demise of England in the rugby. I couldn't give two fucks though, as Leeds won and we got a result at Agincourt.

We didn't play well. Wolves fluffed a few chances. We were lucky to get the win. It was a stressful match to watch. But boy am I cheerful after getting the result. It was 3 points we didn't deserve. But we do deserve a bit of luck this season.GreennWhite wrote: ↑Sat Mar 18, 2023 6:04 pm Good to get 3 welcome points. Didnt see the game but going by some on here the score didnt reflect the game properly, but who cares as we got the 3 points.
But my god reading the messages on here during the game, we have many many moaning, grumpy barstewards
M.O.TO. Keep smiling![]()

He made a great point blank save that could have been the difference in the game. Need to give him some credit.SG90 wrote: ↑Sat Mar 18, 2023 6:06 pm We don't make it hard for ourselves, but we got the important win and boosted our GD a bit too. Good results elsewhere too. Meslier will cost us points in the run in, as he did last season, time he had to fight for his place.
Had to laugh at Chelski being in the bottom half, but hoping they win.

Not worth the £12 million we paid for him, probably more suited to La Liga football.BGwhite wrote: ↑Sat Mar 18, 2023 5:53 pm Totally. A few times we should have booted clear but decided to try being clever and got us in real trouble. Decision making is slow and consequently wrong.
Ultimately it's all about the points but going forward I can only see a very bumpy ride .

As I posted earlier, Andrew, our players are not clever footballers.andrewjohnsmith wrote: ↑Sat Mar 18, 2023 5:53 pm Question on their 1st goal.
I know Roca should have cleared the ball. But since Meslier was out of the box making the clearance - Shouldn't at least one of our defenders have run into the goal to cover behind him? Seems pretty obvious on the replay.

Re: Wolverhampton Wanderers v Leeds Utd Match Thread - McKennie & Gnonto in for Adams & Summerville
From Luke Ayling:
“It was a crazy game. We came here last year on the same day and had another crazy game. It was just up and down, we played really well to get 3-0 up and then we just let the game go. We let them back into it, we saw the game out well in the end but we can’t let them two goals in to make it close."
“I don’t care about that!” Ayling replied when asked about the standard of officiating and VAR's use. “I walk away with three points, I don’t care what happened so I won’t comment on that."
“We worked on things in the week, to come away and score four goals in the Premier League is hard so it’s great to come away and do that."
Classy from Bill

Watching the replays. It's nice to see a useful corner. But it's also nice to see someone else defending corners like we do.
In fact, I'd say today that Wolves out-Leedsed us today.

I wish someone could learn to take a free kick from just outside the box. Two today within about 5 minutes in the first half and both posing no threat at all, each just skied well over the bar, one by Roca and one by Bamford - such an anticlimax!
