I mean i love Lee Bowyer but he would put the C in suicide for his reputation. Running the club on emotion will get you (Bielsa). Running the club on a whim will get you Marsch and his signings.

So why would Lee Bowyer be a good appointment in your opinion?
I am not suggesting he would be. Right now we are not privy to the options the club has available, however in my opinion the options will be very limited. They are damned whatever they do, this season has been a fiasco.

Smith went to scum because they were the only ones willing to pay up front, when we desperately needed the money. He wanted to go to Everton instead, but they'd only pay in instalments. Completely different to Kewell and Bowyer robbing the club of much needed money and leaving for very little.

The reason Javi has not been sacked today is: today is his birthday (53rd)! Writing definitely on the wall tho...

Rumours that Orta is also on his way out!

I do agree we need more Leeds people, or Loiners at the club, but Bowyer isn't the answer as manager. Milner, Howson, Grayson, Delph, Lennon, I don't know in an advisory role at the club or something. Jacko, Kalvin, Cresswell, Shacks, Stix have all left recently, and that's a big part of the heart and soul gone.

Smith joined Scum because they were the ones that would give us the most money (and didn't he waive some sort of fee)

I was a kid at the time I didn't follow the ins and outs

Bowyer far as I know could have joined Liverpool for a lot of money which we needed but choose to run his deal down and leave for free did he not to make more money for himself.

Boyer might well get the fans onside but is he the type of manager who can take a team like ours at present and sort them out, get them gelling in such a short space of time. No doubt he will have his own ways of playing so that's yet another new way the players will have to get used to.
I liked him in his playing days for us but dont want him as a stop gap manager.

Still think we should make a try for Rodgers. He'd love nothing more than to stay up over Leicester.

Not a chance he'd risk a relegation on his cv

It’s too late but it does seem to have become toxic very fast for Gracia and just a change to anybody, even lee bowyer would probably rejuvenate the squad a little bit - just a shame the first game would be vs city and be back to square one again next week.

Can’t see allardyce achieving anything with this squad especially not in a couple of weeks but the board have to do something to dig themselves out of this mess

Agree totally, we are shot with both barrels and are about to ship a boat load of goals . We could put 10 at the back it wouldn't make any difference. Let Gracie carry on and make right proper clowns of himself and the twat who chose him then hopefully they'll collect their p45's together after the Tottenham game....just like someone else quite recently....they do say 'what goes around comes around '.

Big Sam vs McKennie for the last doughnut could be worth a watch

My money is on Sam

Anyway we plainly can't play his defensive hoof ball style (Gracia has tried it).

But it gives me hope Orta has gone
