Bit late but just got done watching.

Pleased overall. Must have been frustrating to watch live. But a bit easier knowing ahead that we won easily.

It kind of reminded me of the premier league games last season. Games where we did most of the work. But the other team was just far superior in front of goal.

Our breakaways were really good. Our front line should be way too good for this league. Having Gnonto, Rutter and Summerville to break. Then bringing James and Anthony off the bench.

And great that we have a clinical finisher now. On top of that Rutter took his goal with total confidence.

Millwall had most of the play but had no quality up front. And our defence did a good job overall, limiting them to long chances. Great to have back to back clean sheets. Mr. Mez will be pleased - looked pleased in front of fans at the end of the game.

Hope we build on this. We can still take it up another gear. We have a really good squad. Lots of good options.

May not have been clinical. But his speed late in the game - when the opposition is ushing up field, is a great weapon to have,

Anyway, great win that. Always tricky down there but we came through it really well. Ampadu outstanding, Byram continues to surprise me, all the attacking players were a threat all game.

Byram plays a really unique role. I saw him in the defensive midfield role and attacking middle quite a bit.

It must be a hard role to understand. Which would explain why Hjelde has struggled with it. And explains why I jumped right back in ahead of Shackleton today.

Ayling was brilliant today - this is why he plays. We all know he makes the odd mistake but the haters will find it hard to give him the credit he deserves more often than not.

Always been a big Ayling fan. But he has been dropping a bit this season.

I've always loved the flop too. But today he had some really awful flops. Too many tbh that it was getting a little irritating. I mean they were Brendan Aaronson level today for quality and irritating.

But still good to see Bill still playing his part.

Because he knows he has to fight for his place now. He was very good today, but needs to stop falling over, as refs aren't falling for it, and it's embarrassing at his age.

Rutter was tripped when through on goal just before HT, and it wasn't given because of his ridiculous dive ten mins before

The referee was awful today. I think Leonard bodychecked Gnonto 3 times. And he threw an arm across Ayling's chest off the ball.

That said, I'm glad we don't have VAR. I thought our last 2 goals were both very tight for offside - but there wasn't a conclusive camera angle and I'm hapy for it.

It does look a bit unfair at first glance, but, as you say, it’ll be in our favour at some point during the season.

At least it’s a relatively close midweek game for us.

Comedy Leeds goal , James was lucky

I had to laugh when I saw Dan fall over & ball inadvertently landed at Piroe's feet at the back post.

Yeah I felt the same. Was great to see Rutter's reaction to Piroe's first goal and then to see his big smile as he was coming off. Easy to forget he is just a young lad and it isn't his fault we splashed the money on someone with potential but far from being the finished article.

I wouldn't have thought Bamford will be starting unless one of those two has a really bad run,an injury, or Farke decides either of them needs a breather. Up to Bamford to take his chances when they come and hopefully he can build up his fitness without any pressure of being rushed back so that his body is in the best shape to seeif he can get back to his best.

That's all we want from Bamford initially. Given his return from injury record, it would be better just to give him sporadic game time. Let him build up his fitness before we even think of forcing him back in again.

Most pleasing thing for me today was defensive.

I expect our attacking players to create chances most of the time.

But defensively has been my main worry with Farke.

Pleased today to see very decent defensive organisation and commitment

Hopefully it continues.

I said that Millwall's attack was really poor. Didn't create one really good chance. But definitely credit to our defence.

Loved Piroe's dummy in the build-up for the goal.

Yes. I thought that was good too. It showed really good experience. Most would have tried to take the ball first time. But it was smart work to know that he could let it run through then take it back on a kind of dummy one-two
