To be fair to Hjelde he is a CB not a LB and he has received high praise in the past for performances in that role

The only hope already really is the mighty pair of Preston and Ipswich hit rough patches and we find some consistency and start putting teams to the sword - you look at the table and we have only played 2 of the 12 teams below us, 3 after tonight.Byebyegeegee wrote: ↑Wed Oct 04, 2023 2:44 pm We need a win tonight and another win on Saturday, anything other than that will see us slip further behind the front runners and, before you know it, automatic promotion will be an impossibility (if it isn’t that already).
Come on Leeds!

That's an interesting stat.

Spot on

Missed that, it seems one of Ayling or Coop has to start

I'd have him on the bench. He was poor last weekend, and although everybody was - I think he needs a timeout. He is maybe not match fit enough to be consistent yet.

Yes, that was my logic. In theory it has to be Shacks, but I think Ayling has to come in to start as captain. I don't really think Struijk or Ampadu are quite ready for the captain role yet.The Subhuman wrote: ↑Wed Oct 04, 2023 5:49 pm Missed that, it seems one of Ayling or Coop has to start

I reckon Cresswell makes the bench ahread of Poveda

Agree Ash, I'm beginning to sound like a broken record on this, but I think the dilemma is captaincy.AcrossThePondAsh wrote: ↑Wed Oct 04, 2023 5:54 pm Love to see Rodon back and Anthony with his first full start. No offence to Luke, but add Djed at LB and that might be our strongest XI![]()
