Didn’t see anything to suggest he had a bias against us, which is a novelty, and correctly booked 4 of theirs justifiably. Would have been harsh to have sent Hogg off although I’ve seen it happen for less. Overall pretty good 7/10.

He could have been a little more aggressive with the yellow cards earlier in the game; might have saved a few beatings later on.

Still, a good performance. No bias one way or the other and very consistent.

Cooper's tackle looked like a stonewall penalty on a second viewing.

Hogg, Edwards, Lees, Thomas & Nakayama all could have walked for crude challenges & repeat fouling on Summerville, Rutter, James, Ampadu & Rodon. The dog botherers were fortunate to get away with just four yellow cards.

He turned a blind eye away from all the crude tackles their defenders made, several times, there were at least three that should have been shown. I'm just surprised we haven't got any of our star players missing tomorrow night

Thought he had an excellent game. Thought he missed a penalty on Summerville, but the replay proved him right.

Let the players play and never got in the way of the flow of the game. As good a performance as we've seen this year.

What about the lack of yellow cards when at least three of our players got clattered from behind, we've had no protection from referees for some crude challenges, this season?

There was just one incident that annoyed me last night which was when, after a blatant fowl against Ampadu (I think), he allowed advantage because we still had the ball, but that advantage only lasted for about half a second, because they nicked the ball immediately, and he failed to blow up for the original fowl which allowed them a dangerous counter attack, as we were then on the back foot. Playing advantage is good but it has to be a proper advantageous position.

Other than that he did well.

Our two penalty shouts were hopeful rather than laid on, although the Summerville one had some merit and may have been given had we been Scum.

Clearly one of the leagues better refs 8/10.

Couple of possible penalties for us but you don't get those in the Championship. The game is more enjoyable without VAR and so referees need to see more contact before awarding spot kicks which is fine as long as it's consistent throughout the League.

I get used to the odd decision going wrong, part of the game nowadays with the officiating, and it is such a difficult job.

Dean Whitestone referee for Leicester has moved into second place in the ratings with an average of 7.5, however only 7 people voted, the leader is still Josh Smith for the Cardiff game with 7.8, but he had 11 votes.
It now knocks Keith Stroud, Bristol game to third with 7.3 and 6 votes.
