We were going to lose him anyway. Koch wasn't signing a contract extension with us, so any money we got from a loan deal was a bonus.

I am sure I have heard that it keeps rolling. It would make sense (well comparitive sense if you get my drift) for it to roll on as we'd start getting less from the parachute payments so would be in more need to get rid of their wages if we didn't get promoted.

It's already been agreed, that if we don't go up, Roca's loan will be extended. So I imagine it'd be the same for everyone. Except Sini who has a permanent option in place.

So that would cover 24/25 season by end of which he is out of contract in 12 months and if not promoted end of 2025 season he could do it again and do what Koch did?

Like everyone else he had the clauses written into his contract when he initially signed. I suspect we may have tried to extend his contract during the Jesse season like we did with Llorente but he was not stupid enough to sign.
He played his cards very well, he will get a significant signing on fee as his club get him for free.

People talking about nominal fees need to read up on football contracts.

As with Harrison, any new contract would've had the loan clause anyway.

As a Championship team, getting nothing, for say a £5m player, is really poor and we'll have to make that up somehow.
