Ludicrous. I don't think I've ever seen a robot sneaking into a game.Orange Box wrote: ↑Wed Jan 24, 2024 12:59 pm I’ve just had a look at the club website review of the game tonight. It says there are still tickets available. I clicked on the website link which (eventually) took me to a page for Swansea away. No mention of Norwich.
I say eventually because I had to prove I wasn’t a robot. This exercise all but needed me to provide an intestinal x-ray for proof.
Why is supporting Leeds so difficult?

I do think LUTV needs to improve its production quality. They're not some cheap tv network. They've got the club backing behind them. The club should put more resources into improving the production.White Riot wrote: ↑Wed Jan 24, 2024 1:08 pm Classic![]()
And that's before the footy starts OB![]()
It's all part of the holistic, masochistic experience that we signed up for a long time ago![]()
I used to pay for LUTV every match day and was typically watching either a blue, or yellow, circle of death, which was occasionally interrupted by what seemed to be some fuzzy, out of focus, live feed transmitted by a bloke tied to a bungee rope on his JVC camcorder![]()
Well worth 5 squid for "The Match Experience"![]()

My guess is unchanged starting 11.
Cooper and Byram are possibilities. But I don't see any changes until the cup game.

Always baffled me how shoddy our website and LUTV was, and still is, considering what Radrizanni made his money from. You would have thought that our website and whole digital service was being maintained by a couple of teenagers studying web design for their GCSEs.andrewjohnsmith wrote: ↑Wed Jan 24, 2024 3:44 pm I do think LUTV needs to improve its production quality. Agreed, Weasel. It's always stumped me too. Considering the popularity of the Amazon documentary and massive devoted fanbase, I've always been surprised the team didn't make more of the digital/social media opportunities available to them, even if just to improve the bottom line. Thought this might improve, or be revamped, with the Niners but maybe all eyes are on promotion instead?weasel wrote: ↑Wed Jan 24, 2024 4:07 pm Always baffled me how shoddy our website and LUTV was, and still is, considering what Radrizanni made his money from. LUTV is a no brainer project when it comes to growing and engaging your international support

Norwich games us a torrid time in the first game.
Perhaps they will come with a point to.prove and we can outplay them.
Bench may be critical tonight after that tough game on Sunday.

My thinking exactly, Andrew. It seems such an easy way to provide fans with more, better produced content, while at the same time making money and growing the fanbase as well, especially given the untapped American market. I imagine it's a bit of crawling before you walk and that a return to the big league would see more of this in the works.andrewjohnsmith wrote: ↑Wed Jan 24, 2024 6:12 pm LUTV is a no brainer project when it comes to growing and engaging your international support

Leeds United v Norwich City: Meslier, Gray, Rodon, Ampadu, Firpo; Gruev, Kamara; Summerville, James; Rutter, Bamford.

3 defenders on the bench that could quite easily be starters.
Funny old game.

I couldn't get the last game to play on my laptop - had to watch it on the tiny phone screen??!
Trying to buy stuff from the store is an even more frustrating experience.
That's a massive revenue stream - and a global one.
Yet trying to place an order and then get it delivered (into North America) is like pulling teeth.
I would hope the 49ers apply some resources here in due course.
However, priority 1 is promotion, so I'll just grind my teeth for a while.
Having said all that, I also occasionally visit the Ajax site (been a fan since Cruyff). Their site is just as clunky.

Major backfire should we get beat tonight. Confident in the lads though, expecting 3-1

I think it's wise to field an unchanged starting 11.
If we play well tonight there is going to be a REAL conversation taking place when Pascal is fit again.
There are suddenly all sorts of permutations opening up, which is great.
Will be interesting to see the 11 for the cup game!

I ordered a load of stuff from the shop online when we were living in Canada, Malcolm. But by the time the greedy Canucks has added the same amount I'd paid Leeds in import tax what had been a bargain was no longer a bargain.malcolmw wrote: ↑Wed Jan 24, 2024 6:59 pm I agree with all comments about our website.

I've lived in Canada for 30 years and am a very proud Canadian.
We're in the US desert for a couple of months over the winter, and being down here makes me an even more proud (and grateful) Canadian
BTW, the stuff I have bought from the Leeds shop hasn't had any taxes/duties added when I got it?? So maybe Canada Customs saw you coming
