You would have thought Chelscum had won the Champions League the way the pundits are going on and no interview with a Leeds player or manager.

Indeed. I think if we had our strongest line-up out there we just may have won - albeit who knows cos Joseph wouldn't have been selected. Hopefully none of those missing tonight will be unavailable on Saturday. The Subhuman wrote: ↑Wed Feb 28, 2024 9:46 pm Spine was missing, Gruev/Kamara and Geo .... Our two best wingers didn't start, one hopes this is the end, at least for a while, of Piroe as the 10. Poor today

Where were the Leeds interviews?

Problem is, I don’t see where he does fit, and can’t imagine him tearing up the PL.The Subhuman wrote: ↑Wed Feb 28, 2024 9:46 pm Spine was missing, Gruev/Kamara and Geo .... Our two best wingers didn't start, one hopes this is the end, at least for a while, of Piroe as the 10. Poor today

oh Piroe?, he's a 9 imo... It's reminding me all the times we played Llorente out of position, didn't get the best out of him bar his fist 2/3 months

Do we think a fully fit Georgie makes a difference?
Or would Chelsea simply have snapped into him as he turned as has happened and caused us issues?

Yes ... Sooner or later he breaks you and the flood gates open... Think of him as a dambuster...chipping away til the defence falls apart

We gave a pretty good account of ourselves. Does he create more than Piroe? Yes. Do we score those goals if he plays? Who knows!

Firpo is poor at tracking his man and sensing where the danger is.
Saw it a few times tonight including for the winner.
He watches the ball too much i think.

Not sure why Farke can’t see that Piroe is not a number 10, he has had his moments playing there but nowhere near consistent enough, looks lost and ineffective most of the time - I do wonder what happens with him if we go up

Not sure the winner was on Firpo ...... Think Archie lost Gallagher ..... Firpo also had a player on his outside to look after

Gallagher is a good footballer, no shame getting beat by him.
