Norwich City v Leeds Utd Match Thread

[DDB220]

Right time to take 15 mins writing a long post and have a fanny fit if the thread is closed before I post.
Just being ironic - As there is sod all to write about. Very turgid affair. Surprised Norwich just effectively retreated and lost any ambition to win the game.

Happy with the result rather than the performance. Two sides low on confidence and trying not to lose. Hopefully not a false dawn, but defence looking better and a clean sheet may be a boost. First goal (if it comes) will probably win the tie.

I guess that Farke had to shore things up and at least keep us in the tie.

Hopefully the lads can find a bit of confidence from this and play better at ER.

Apart from the first half hour, he’s kept things ticking over nicely, we’d like a shot from him but we know that isn’t going to happen.

Agree Finn, he really settled into the match and looked the most composed attacking player for us. Felt that our only scoring threat was going to be one of his risky through ball attempts. Completely agree re: his shooting, I won’t hold that against him as he’s widely indicated that he’s not willing to do so.

If that had been a chess game it had stalemate written all over it
