Thanks, faaip................gave this a couple of listens through today. Quite enjoyed, but not up there with the previous BMFS recommendation, who have been on frequent rotation the last couple of weeks.

Yes BMFS are excellent to be fair ... and there is a bit of YLT in Black Duck.
I've had Supersilent on today, that's probably a bit niche but free jazz/ambient/electronica goodness.

Looking back at Glastonbury 2024 the headline acts on the main Pyramid Stage were Dua Lipa - Coldplay and SZA.
With the bands out there the headliners are becoming more and more difficult to find. So who would you like to see playing the headlining slots in years to come. Its a tricky one when you think about it.....
Before I could play guitar I used to go and watch the local punk bands (from 1982). One of these bands were called Solvent Abuse. Anyway, long story short, I bumped in 2 of Abuse's original members at a folk festival just over a year ago: first time I'd seen them in 38 years. They messaged me a week later and asked if I'd be interested in playing guitar for them if they reformed? I said yes. Here is a video from one of our rehearsals earlier this year (we are currently playing only original sings from the 80's). Song is called Glue Kills. 2 x original members: Cookie (bass) and Shelley (vocals), new lad Gav (drums) and me (guitar)...
Tool are the best live act in the world at moment, and, since the death of Neil Peart have the best drummer and also bassist, add to that MJK's stunning vocals and Adam Jones guitar and it can't be beaten. Played live this year here but couldn't afford the 200 quid tickets
Placebo are still stunning live, saw them a year or so ago and even with most stuff off the new album it was still a wish achieved
Rammstein are a consummate arena/big stage entertainers replete with Till Linderman's wonderful bass baritone vocals
Undercard would feature the likes of Wand and by extension Cory Hanson, Oldest Sea, Blue Oyster Cult (who have the last living member of my top 3 all time guitarists (though Gilmour at 4 is still alive)) Goldfrapp (queen of Glastonbury) Tropical f**k Storm, Break My f**king Sky, Pixies, Spotlights, Ride, Blueneck (for me the finest British band of the last 24 years,) The Hold Steady
oh and Band Maid, just to see/hear Misa and Kanami play

XTC have a strong back catalogue.
I enjoy White Music, Black Sea, Oranges & Lemons, Drums & Wires as well as English Settlement.
