I think we should sell Piroe, I just don't see where he fits in this team.. Get some money back and go hard for the Norwich kid ...

Re: Leeds Utd v Portsmouth Match Thread
Really thought we'd win that, better players in every position. Think Pompey are a top half team by seasons end but that was Man City 3 Fulham 3

Well, poor start last season cost us the promotion in the end. You simply can't accept this result against a newcomer and that too at home. Why on earth not just go for the kill after first goal, instead we let them back in the match.

Not sure how Bogle earns a higher rating than Meslier. Meslier's day is a lot easier but for Bogle. The Subhuman wrote: ↑Sat Aug 10, 2024 1:35 pm Meslier - 5

Massive error for the first. Very saveable and 95% of keepers in this division would have. I'm one of Mes's fans here but save that we probably win at a canterJohn in Louisiana wrote: ↑Sat Aug 10, 2024 1:41 pm Not sure how Bogle earns a higher rating than Meslier. Please do not post his ratings on this thread. I avoid that thread for the sake of my sanity.John in Louisiana wrote: ↑Sat Aug 10, 2024 1:41 pm Not sure how Bogle earns a higher rating than Meslier. Meslier's day is a lot easier but for Bogle.

Re: Leeds Utd v Portsmouth Match Thread
I think that's pretty harsh. Meslier could have done better with the first but it was a very powerful strike. He can't possibly be faulted for the other two.The Subhuman wrote: ↑Sat Aug 10, 2024 1:42 pm Massive error for the first. Very saveable and 95% of keepers in this division would have. I agree, though, that had he made that first save we probably win easily

Mes shocking for the first goal
Threw himself to the ground before the pen taker kicked it.
Geo still can't shoot
Bringing Bamford on for Joseph is like exchanging a Rolls Royce for a cart horse

I thought Bogle was decent, defensively he isn’t great but he was dangerous up top, put in some great balls.
