If he’d reimburse his ridiculous weekly salary, no.

Meslier is, well, Meslier
Firpo & Bogle good going forward but terrible defending
Ampadu brilliant as always
Joe looking better tonight
Pascal among the early runners for player of the year
Gruev spending a lot of time covering for Firpo but that’s obviously the tactics
James getting into good positions but needs to put better crosses in
Gnonto doing well but needs to cut out the silly challenges
Aaronson MOTM so far
Joseph needs a goal for his confidence but doing well

I liked the interchange and movement from Gnonto, Aaronson, James, and Joseph. It was very fluid. I really thought we should have created more chances than we actually did. But it looked so nice!!YorkshireSquare wrote: ↑Fri Aug 23, 2024 7:54 pm A lot more positive with him (Aaronson) at No.10, working well when he switches with Gnonto and James too.

We are stuck with him Kenny, simple as that.Kennyb41 wrote: ↑Fri Aug 23, 2024 6:50 pm He can fck right off for me now BB, if i had the chance as manager now i really would consider just striking him off and let him fight for his wages thru the courts.
This twat has done nothing but cry off at the slightest opportunity when it's important or a 'all hands to the pump' scenario.
Now it's a 'slight hamstring problem'...yeah reet, just fck right off, this twat has never forgiven the fans for the abuse he received, and these times like the back end of last season are his 'payback' to them.
I've had my suspicions for a long long time, and tonight confirms it for me.
I’d let him rot, but we won’t do that, his salary means we have to, at least, try and make him earn his corn.

How do you solve a problem like Joel Piroe....YorkshireSquare wrote: ↑Fri Aug 23, 2024 8:00 pm He's making a massive difference, far more positive. And his rotation with James and Gnonto is good.

They're not terrible, they'll not be getting relegated and probably top half depending on the size of their squad, lacking real talent but hardworkingBarlow Boy wrote: ↑Fri Aug 23, 2024 7:54 pm Not sure how good/bad Wednesday are, but that was pretty good from us.

Yes I agree Ash. I think he's better in the middle than wide. He runs at everything - sometimes a little too much, but great work rate.AcrossThePondAsh wrote: ↑Fri Aug 23, 2024 7:57 pm BA seems to offer more than Piroe at the 10 by improving players' chances around him.
Piroe for me is upfront as striker. Better sub for Joseph than Bambi.

We've had several really nice interchanges along both wings, Paul. Much like what we had glimpses of in preseason.BlackHillsPaul wrote: ↑Fri Aug 23, 2024 8:03 pm I liked the interchange and movement from Gnonto, Aaronson, James, and Joseph. It was very fluid. Obviously a good player. But doesn't fit our system.
