Farke deserves a lot of credit. I know a lot of fans on here like to run him down but the way we play out from the back takes a lot of courage and doesn't just happen because we have better players. It is all about getting players to work as a team, angle of the body when receiving the passes, continually moving around to drag the opposition players out of how they want to press etc. Sheff Wed's press didn't get near us whilst our more controlled pressing saw us win the ball high up the pitch several times.
Having more expensive players isn't a guarantee of success. Getting them to work their b*llocks off and play as a team is certainly not something that happens at every club. MU, for example, have players costing far more than ours do but when they play out from the back it resembles a game of hot potato.
Tonight was a controlled performance. Fairly even early on but then as the match went on we started to gain more possession and get more joy with our passing. Could have been 3 or 4.

Yes, agree. I do think Willie was doing a bit too much falling over in the challenge at times. Reckon he's missing his mates Georgi and Crys. Could still be off to Everton or some other loser PL team next week, maybe?

And Joseph has the pace and strength to come from deep, Bamford and Piroe don't really

Yeah I've noticed that a few times with them. I think maybe they are all just done straight off the stats for the game and each player, because they are up there immediately.
Man of the match for me was toss up between Brendan, Pascal or Amps. I'll go with Amps as it was a real captain's performance, leading from the front in work ethic.
