Leeds Utd v Watford
Tue 22nd October 7.45pm | Elland Road

Play-off hopefuls Watford are the visitors to Elland Road on Tuesday evening as the Championship nears the quarter of the season point. Both sides have had contrasting results leading up this fixture, with the Hornets on the wrong side of a 3-0 thumping at lowly Luton Town; whilst Farke's men (who have had an extra 24 hours to recover) saw off Sheffield Utd in style.

Third placed Leeds (19 points) are three points and five places above their Hertfordshire foes, who have lost their last four away games, conceding 11 times and scoring just once in that period. The Whites are joint second highest goal scorers (17) in the Championship, and have the third best defensive record, having only conceded seven.

Leeds have won three of the last four encounters against Tom Cleverley's side including a 3-0 thrashing at this very fixture last season, only to be held to a 2-2 draw at Vicarage Road late March, thanks to a late leveller from Mateo Joseph.

Daniel Farke has every reason to be cautiously optimistic. He has no new injury concerns to worry about, and Manor Solomon / Dan James both returned to action on Friday night will no ill-effects from their respective injuries - both can expect more minutes against Watford. Max Wober, Ilea Gruev and Ethan Ampadu remain out out action until after Christmas, with midfield duo AO Tanaka and Joe Rothwell continuing to deputise. Watford will be without right-back Jeremy Ngakia thigh) and centre-back Kevin Keben (knee).

Let's hope we can duplicate the performance of last Friday, and Gnonto recovers from his knock...

Not tonight Swannie.

If I'm fit on Thursday, I tend to have a Jack Daniel's in the White Horse after our table tennis session.

No Aaronson in your squad, Matt???

I also think Ramazani will start for either Soloman or James.

Watching from sunny Madeira via a match pass😊. Won’t be sunny when we kick off of course but it will be warm. Cocktails in hand! It’s usually tea….

What we want or think?

DF doesn't tend to rotate much.

I'd like to see Aaronson out for Solomon.

Got a funny feeling Joseph starts though, either for Piroe or Aaronson
