Our left side is more congested than the right where we’ve had the most joy.
When Solomon gets it he’s not had much space and Firpo hasn’t overlapped much either

Possible explanation. Doesn’t that suggest you should adapt approach when things try out (after 15 mins)?weasel wrote: ↑Tue Oct 22, 2024 7:41 pm With the Bachmann, squirmer, over line, it made me think back to what a poster mentioned after the previous match about seeing Messlier push everything out during the warm-up rather than catching. With us watering the pitch heavily pre-match I wonder if the ball is really slippy, expecially early on, and as such the bext policy is simply to push it clear rather than catching it.

Watford had 2 corners which they whipped right in on top of Mes & only luck saved us , at the other end we either struggle to beat the 1st man or sail it over everyone’s head.

Would you take dull 2-0’s every week and walk the league?YorkshireSquare wrote: ↑Tue Oct 22, 2024 7:37 pm That was pretty dull considering we are winning 2-0
Or
exciting football and we scrape the league win in the last 15 mins of the last game of the season?

I'm guessing it would depend on how quickly the pitch and the ball(s) dry out. Would definitely think that early doors the ball will be slippier than a bar of soap in Jaydog's communal shower.Clitheroe White wrote: ↑Tue Oct 22, 2024 7:49 pm Possible explanation. The Watford game plan has worked so far, shame they were 2 down when it kicked in. I bet Cleverley is raging. We need to be on our toes second period.Cjay wrote: ↑Tue Oct 22, 2024 7:44 pm Bit meh.
Not really done anything brilliant but been ok and were gifted 2 goals.
Like to see more from Solomon.
Meslier needs to he stronger at set pieces but a.nice save
And think Aaronson has been better today, Piroe touch poor a few times bur working hard and lovely pass to Willy

It's been coming since the second goal. Players being too overconfident and thinking the game was won already.

Piroe too slow, he doesn’t offer a way out of defence. Joseph, even Bamford run into space. Not Piroe style.
