Re: Bristol City v Leeds Utd Match Thread
That was a tough watch. As a few have said, camera set up is awful. Couldn't load on my TV for first 20 minutes. So struggling with a tiny picture on my lap top. Couldn't tell which player was which. And hearing "Rondon" 8 or 9 times even more irritating. Got the TV working now.
Took us a long time to get into it. BC much the better team. But we had plenty of good play in the last 15. We should be able to take this in the 2nd half.

Re: Bristol City v Leeds Utd Match Thread
We've gone back to ploddyball.
Tanaka and Rothwell now joining in the safe sideways passes and the difference is noticeable.
Our 2 chances have come from fast breakaway.
Need to speed it up, be braver with our passing (never seen a team as frightened to switch play as we are).
Bristol City look dangerous on the break, players finding space quite easily.
On a knife edge this.

Think we look most likely to score. They look a bit soft up front

Wasted chances up front. Lacking a bit of imagination in the final third. Largie clearly missed. But need more from Willy, James, and Piroe (as opposed to running into each other). I’d give them another 10 minutes to get sorted. Our options off the bench are Manor and Joseph. Which one do we bring on if the starters can’t get something going? Or do we bring on both?

Meslier not really troubled but we need to be doing more in the final third.
The game seems to being played at quite a leisurely pace for the most part, very little urgency.
Shame Dan James isn't fully fit, they wouldn't have caught him when he broke away.
Aaronson excellent so far.

I have to agree.Orange Box wrote: ↑Sat Oct 26, 2024 12:22 pm Not much to say about that. Slow, unimaginative and the usual wasted chances. 4/10 team performance for me.

They are if you win.
A BC supporting friend said they are a dull watch but I wouldn’t want to go behind as they are well organised

Yes should win, think Joseph on, maybe for Piroe an James off for Solomon on 60 ish. He doesn't look quite match fit .andrewjohnsmith wrote: ↑Sat Oct 26, 2024 12:23 pm That was a tough watch. It's funny, as the likes of Klipperty and Fraudiola threw a hissy fit about early kicks off after midweek games, and the TV lords agreed that was unfair. Yet EFL clubs with much smaller squads and far fewer resources have to put it with it still.

Keeps saying Rondon.
There was a Rondon. Saloman Rondon I think.

We have chosen too many wrong options.
Why do we hit the ball straight at the keeper? Dink the ruddy ball.

Missed the first 15 minutes but think we’ve been
fairly good since, were we crap earlier judging by the comments?

Right gotta go out now. Come on Leeds! Can't afford to concede today, as it will be a tight one.
