For me Joseph should start in place of Piroe. Byrum, I guess, at right back and Solomon on the wing replacing James. Would like to see Schmidt get at least a 1/2 hour.

Thank God (and Sky) it's a 3pm KO today :)

Let's hope it sees us return to winning ways as dropping more home points to a lowly club could prove disastrous come the end of the season.

If we can’t beat Plymouth at home, we can forget all talk about promotion.

We didn't beat Portsmouth at home who are bottom of the League and yet most think we're near certainties for promotion ?

1 goal in six away games 👀
Why did I go 4-1 then

First game of the season, new teams settling in, Pompey on a high after their previous season. Anything can happen game one. We've settled into the season now, levels are found. We need to beat Plymouth or you'd have to examine closely why not

And yet Burnley couldn't beat second bottom QPR at home last weekend.

It's the Championship so sh*t happens :)

QPR are a strange one, they have quality in the playing ranks and really should be lower mid table.

Are you getting the excuses in already? This Plymouth team has key players missing from a team with very little quality anyway, a manager that is fairly clueless.

Like most teams against us they have a punchers chance, a boxing analogy, a number of teams though, even the good ones, have hidden behind their gloves while working the ropes. WBA/SU/Cardiff/SW etc didn't even throw punches at all, just let us pick them off with jabs (I like this analogy)

Plymouth need a very good game from their keeper, a first half goal to defend, get one of ours sent off, a lot of gamesmanship and get some help from the ref..

NOTHING is a given in football, crazy, strange results happen from time to time

But, we should have enough to win this game. Any win will do,and take the 3 points on offer. And please,no more bookings :)

We didn't beat WBA or Norwich when they had loads of injuries.

Df always has his excuses ready :)

He’ll need to scrape the bottom of the excuse barrel if we lose to Rooneys lot. Or even fail to win tbh.
Terrible away record. 1 goal for 13 against in their last 6.

Exactly the sort of team we'd lose to

Of course we should win and win well.

Let's hope that happens but if it doesn't then it's not the end of the world with 33 games still to go after this one.

It wont be funny. Well in a macabre self flagellatory way it will be. If you like that sort of thing 😁

It shouldn't happen.

But neither should many of our results last season or that infamous game vs Wigan !!!!

Nothing less than 3 points will do if we’re serious about promotion, I dread to think what it will be like on here if we don’t win. 🫣
