We were easily the better team

Can't win them all

Difficult today against a bogie team

We will easily make top 2
We weren’t the better team, Millwall had a game plan and carried it off perfectly while we huffed & puffed and never looked like scoring. Having 70% possession doesn’t make us a better team, just means we weren’t good enough to do anything with it.
PS. I still think we’ll go up automatically but we need to work out how to break teams like Millwall down.

3 points from the last 12 away from home ... That needs to change.

Better team, but the simple fact is we didn't do enough.

No clear-cut chances created, apart from headers from Gnonto & Rodon. Had those opportunities fallen to Millwall, at least one of them would have ended up in our net.

That was like being beaten by Featherstone Rovers. :rugby:

Why are we so sure we will go up automatically when we are only 1 point better off than last season now?

A season so bad that our manager thought promotion was impossible at the end of September?

We had more of the ball but we didn't do any more with it than them. Ultimately the most important stat was 1-0 to Millwall.

But there aren't two sides who are miles clear this time around, so the points thing is irrelevant

We weren't.

We were ineffective.

Having lots of the ball creating nothing as you said doesn't make us the better team.

It makes us controlled.

Byram is a good defender & he would have been useful to cope with their big brutes every time the ball was lumped into our box.
