Rodon made two stupid challenges that could have resulted in a booking. Pushing players in the back when they're going nowhere. He needs to stop it.

Those challenges are part and parcel of the game. Most if not all the players push and grapple at some point during a game. Perhaps some are more subtle than others.
The Ayling flop came about with responding to a player shove from behind.
Not sure why you have singled Rodon out.

Who was the dickhead commentator for our game tonight?

I nearly choked on my sandwich when reading the comments about Rodon's supposed booking on the journey back home.

After a bad Luton foul play was waved on for an advantage but after the Rodon foul the ref came back & booked the Luton player so looked like Rodon had been booked, easy mistake to make for the commentator. I thought the best comment was from the female commentator who said she didn’t live or die by stats, obviously not a member of the forum then

We had a really strong bench last night and that was without Firpo, Gruev, Ampadu, Schmidt and Gelhardt
It will be interesting to see if Firpo comes straight back in against Blackburn.

It's almost inevitable that Rodon will get booked at some point and have to serve a ban. We have cover with Wober and Guilavogui, so if we lose him for one game it's not a big deal.

I think Firpo will still play a lot this season even if Byram stays fit. Firpo and Rami are a good pairing - DF has some great attacking partnerships developing - the lack of options from the bench, which was an issue last season has changed dramatically. This squad is far more balanced and capable of seeing the whole season through full throttle.

How many goals off the bench now ? That is a groany gripe that has disappeared into the ether.

100% True DDB. Some fans complained about Farke not using his subs well enough last year when the truth was what he had on the bench just wasnt good enough to have the right effect in the game. This season as you and a few others have said we have a much better and balanced squad and thats why he is making the changes as he knows those he brings on will make the difference thats required the game.

I think the confusion was because the ref blew for a foul that Rodon had committed and then brandished the yellow card - however it was for a Luton player that had committed a foul previously but presumably the ref had allowed play to continue at the time presumably as we had kept the ball.

Luton commentator too... very poor and you'd expect better from a team that's just come down from the prem. Kept saying a "Leeds player" or mispronouncing names

That said. I think Wober is fully ready and a more than adequate fill in. So I'm not too worried about it.

When Wober came on I was thinking Farke was doing it so as to either rest Byram with a view of playing him as centreback (to replace the banned Rodon) on Saturday or to give Wober a longer run out with a view to him playing centreback - then a few minutes later the commentator corrected himself and made it clear Rodon hadn't been booked. I wonder if Farke had also thought that Rodon had been booked as it was an unusually early sub!

No, he made the early sub because of what he reads on here. It was bound to effect his way of thinking at some stage

I realised that Rodon hadn't received a yellow card. I'm was watching closely, as we have a topic on this subject.

Sometimes I miss incidents at games live in the heat of the moment, other times on my rewatch the replay confirms my initials thoughts.

I thought all our players had a good game last night, one or two mentioned on here were poor, apparently. I'm busy today, but I'll watch & analyse the game again later this evening.

Do your player ratings on how you remember the game from last night 64’ then do them after you watch the replay, would be interesting to see how they compare. It’s easier rating players after watching the game on tv with the benefit of replays etc and very easy to miss details while at the game.
