Very true but in the same way we won't be able to attack with the same intent and will have our chances (which we aren't particularly clinical with) halved due to the increase in quality we face.

Farke ball with 11 solid prem players I think could work but we maybe have 4/5 at present IMO. Gotta get out this league first and in a great position to do so and pretty much accept that we'll get hammered like most sides who go up. Parachute payments with the good financial management we now have is what I want. Build a really good squad in the next few years yo yoing.

14 shots at goal says otherwise, be surprised if Blackburn came close. Holding possession (to pad the stats) in your own third is very poor football and we do it too. Burnley have a slight excuse in that they don't have the attacking quality we do

At least with the 2 away wins we could afford a blip and it could have been worse, as was the case last year. We never really got going so at least it is a point picked up when not playing well. With Burnley only drawing it is no great damage done, hopefully the blades lose tonight.

I've started to watch MOTD again and I forgot what a different level the PL is,this squad would come straight back down just like last year's promotion teams look like doing.

I think so.
This squad the manager has built is better equipped to take on the Palaces, EFC's Wolves etc of the Prem, i feel his football with some slowly introduced better players could compete next season against those clubs, they also won't be playing like Rovers today because we'll be the new minnows of the Premier. I remember the Chelsea cup game last term being pretty open affair where we held our own by playing football, and not defensive football at that.

But we also move the ball too slowly for proper counter football.

I think we have shown at times that we can move the ball quickly. Playing it quickly to try to break doesn't really make much difference if the opposition haven't committed men forward. I think it was the Oxford game where we got our first goal with a swift counter attacking move. Similarly in the last match we broke well with Solomon setting up Dan James.

It is tricky to say because we often seem more clinical in tthe matches that are open, take the Boro matches this year and last. I think sometimes in those type of games because you have more space when attacking it means that the chances created are better - a bit similar to how teams seemed to score a far higher percentage against Bielsa's Leeds than we did. We'd create loads of chances but when the oppositon got a chance it was often the case that we were really stretched.

I didn't suggest that they weren't entitled to their opinion, be it right/wrong, contrary to mine etc. People have the right to be wrong, as you so eloquently prove time after time - only kidding!

It does seem though that a lot of fans give no praise when it is due but then simply pile on when an opportunity to criticise arises. 10 points from the last 4 matches, 14 from the last 6. Sure a draw is disappointing but it is another point added to our total.

Don't forget two teams will go up with us and at the very least I'd think we were better equipped to stay up than them, we'd just need to find one more team to be better than. If Burnley and Sheff U go up then they both have teams that got totally shown up in the prem last year.
