We do not have a target man ( I.e a big lump - aka Matt Smith, Andy Carroll or Kieffer Moore ) that style of football is not playing to our strengths. We may as well get Warnock back or wait for Dyche to become available to use that game plan.

When we get in behind the quality of delivery in to the box needs to be better, a considered cut back now again would be nice, if there is no one in the six yard box or making a run to get there. I think Wober may be able to emulate Firpo in this regard.

You don't need a lump to hoof it to, just a decent ball but when you look at 85% of James and Aaronson crosses you know why.
Piroe is a very intelligent footballer and Joseph would put himself about if the right balls are put in.
We would simply rather pull the ball back and start the whole process again trying to pass through the packed defence.
I've already mentioned our lack of long range attempts.

I have no problems with Amps at LCB. With Wober at LB some additional pace at the back will be handy.

I'd assume Wober to LCB at some point, Amps can do a job but he's not a natural CB

Just have to wait and see. I think if he goes it will because he has asked to. It makes no sense to sell a key player at this stage of the season, even if there is a replacement lined up.

There is transfer rumour concerning a defender from BMG who is familiar with DF’s style of play. Otherwise any defender coming in will not be getting selected without learning DF’s system, based upon previous incomings.
