Isidor was good in the first half but completely disappeared after half time.

They changed their tactics to park the bus. Guess it almost worked, but we needed set pieces to break them down.

Sunderland 10 behind us which is a big if not unsurmountable hill to climb. Every game needs to be won. Keep the same levels everyone fit and we're in a good position right now.

Gives us some breathing space for the Blunts away now, might make it a little less nerve wrecking for the players which is always good.

A bit disappointed they were talking about him as a permanent signing if we get promoted. Decent squad level senior pro. But we need to be signing better if/when we go up.

They won't be catching us now. They have an outside chance of 2nd. They'll be hoping we do them a favour next Monday

You give them too much credit. I think we just had an off day. We had 21 shots but only 6 on target.

I think they were a real threat 1st half, defended well, had us pretty much worked out and could easily have been 2 up whereas we had barely threatened.

2nd half they lost any threat bar the very early Hume chance.

Went ultra defensive too early and basically abandoned any sense of attack. Despite that they had still had more shots on target than us by minute 70 odd.

We showed character and whatnot to get back in it but think Sunderland really pushed us for a lot of that game.

It was Amps who blocked the second shot. So there is a certain goal he prevented. But between Mes who got up real well from the initial save to close down the space, doubled teamed the block with Amps. Great defending all round.

Southampton didn't want him, Bournemouth don't want him. Feels like a decent Championship player.
