Likewise. I don't see Guilavogui starting a game. He doesn't have the pace for the championship and doesn't have the legs to play a full game.
But I do have every confidence that Gruev, Byram, Debayo can fill in for a game if needed.

Don't think JG can play left side should Struijk get injured, and even cover for Rodon wouldn't be good as we lose the pace and speed of thought. JG looked sluggish in his thinking in his start

Agreed.
He couldn't cope with Harrogate.

well...he's managing valencia in la liga and farke is managing us in the championship so he's doing better than farke right now!1964white wrote: ↑Thu Feb 27, 2025 8:56 am It's significant, since Mowbray took over the managerial reins at the Hawthorns in mid-January, West Brom have only drawn one of their last seven games.
WBA's other fourteen draws came under Corberan's boring style of football, the man some rate higher than Farke.![]()
So, we can put that statistic to bed!!!!

gruev or tanaka will fill in at cb if we have any issues there
absolutely crucial game, would be too much like last season to beat sunderland and sheff u and then lose to west brom!

Despite what we have just done in beating both the Blunts and Sunderland this league is far from over. Main thing is, its all in our own hands and we have what it takes to go on and win it.
Im sure the players and manager are not getting too carried away just yet, we as fans shouldnt either, but that doesnt mean we cant still be enjoying the ride.

Depends on the nature of the game. If we are dominating possession he will be OK now. Class is permanent, he is match rusty and lacks sharpness after a few games I think he will be fine if called upon.andrewjohnsmith wrote: ↑Thu Feb 27, 2025 5:27 pm Likewise. Debatable. Since he took over their league score aggregate is 6-22. Third from bottom. Three wins mind, but he’s taken some thumpings from the Spanish giants. I’d have Farke over him every day of the week. To me his only redeeming feature was that he was a Bielsa student, and I think most would hope he could replicate that era.

Hate these 6:30 a.m. kickoffs.
It's barely possible to justify a few pints at 9:00 a.m.
I'm not Shane MacGowan after all.

It is all down to us now. Very exciting, and very excited, but we all need to keep our eye on the prize. Like the lineup today, hopefully a strong result today as always and we can keep enjoying the last couple months of the season.

Team picked itself today, don't think we'll see resting rest of the way.

Mowbray will have his team very well set up to slow us down and frustrate us. This could turn into one of thsoe games that we dominate the ball but dont make too many good scoring chances. The longer it goes on the harder it may be to get the breakthrough.
They would be very happy to take a point from this game.
