Low on confidence
But goal aside he played really well today.
If his name was Bamford would be collective wanking from some

How many points did we have at this stage last season ?
That comparison hasn’t been mentioned in a while.
Good battling win, all that matters now is putting points on the board.

I've heard that there's a guy called Chris Wood who's a pretty good striker in the event of us going up...Oh wait....

Goals are harder to come by when the pressure is so intense. Piroe was a constant threat, just not falling for him currently. Was impressed by Firpo’s attitude in the last 20 mins. He was all over the pitch trying to make something happen, it is evident he wants to leave on a high and is working his socks off.

In all my years of attending Elland Road, and I rarely miss any games, never heard it as loud in many a year.
Incredible.

You had no chickens a couple of weeks ago.CHAPELALLMAN wrote: ↑Sat Apr 12, 2025 2:01 pm He's not the great finisher that some claim he is.
In the PL ( not counting my chickens quite yet ! ) we would need much, much better.

Excellent today and no real gimmies among his chances. His best chance was superbly defended

Said it during the match. He had a perfect Bamford game today. Did everything quite well except put the ball in the net.
In other words, he did everything except what a striker is there to do.
Still, he was a big net positive for us today.

Blunts wobble come at the wrong time for them, I'll be surprised if they win two of their remaining four games.
All that dosh the spent in the January window gone to pot.
