Solid, if unspectacular. I thought there was a number of good performances, particularly Struijk, Ampadu, Tanaka, Gnonto, Stach, and Gudmundsson. Piroe put in some hard yards but was tidy on the little ball he saw, and Nmecha looks a handy target man for holding the ball up, which was essential to us wrestling some control back.

A word on Harrison. I would've liked to see Rama come on, but I do think Harrison played with a steady cool head after we took the lead.

Ramazani seems a bit more happy go lucky

For me I think it's that JH covers both ends of the pitch better. He does more of the defensive work. Plus JH has 5 years in the PL now. I do think Farke sees potential in Ramazani. But that he still needs to develop his game a bit more. For now. Ramazani is probably only worth late game cameos to us.

Was worried Tanaka might be a little light weight. But he got really involved in the physicalty late on.

Harrison was preferred to Ramazani in preseason. Was pretty clear. Has more experience at this level. Might not have Rama's flair. But does cover the left flank from back to front. Happy to have JH around, especially with Gnonto ahead of him.

And the booing - if not disappeared at least it’s seemed to have died down. I don’t like what he did, but he wears a white shirt now and that’s good enough for me

Fantastic 3 points, could and perhaps should have been more but it’s the first game, still a bit rusty and the 3 points is all that matters.

He's a tenacious little soul isn't he, tbf you cam be smaller of stature but have great balance and upper body strength

He was immense.

I disagree on JH I don't understand it, his experience has largely been as an underperforming but safe player.

Largie got 3 goals and 5 assists in just 16 starts in La Liga season before we signed him.

He seems to possess exactly what we need? Harrison is safe and inoffensive but unlikely to ever be a match winner, Largie could be.
