Everton (August)
Wolves (September)
West Ham (October)

Good so far!

December will be the most difficult month.
Interesting perspective. Yes, we'll be lucky to get 2 to 3 points in December. But we dp get a few monsters out of the way.

November isnt a cakewalk either. Maybe a win Vs Forest??

Another goal from a cross into our box, no one near Fernandes, without seeing it again, I think it was Bijol this time, not tight enough to his marker. We got away with a free-header in the first-half, Soucek I think.

Thank god, the referee only added on four minutes added-on-time.
Bijol not effective on crosses - too slow. Going to have to go back to Pascal. No sign of Bornaauw, so assume he's another Schmidt??

If it turns out to be an ongoing problem Victor, I have a Fubo subscription for all PL games. Its reliable and not that expensive.

Bit of a carthorse though??
I'll take Pascal for that role anyday.
But ... I do think it was right to play him today. Must get some PL minutes - just helps with the depth.

Imagine a coin from Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead.
Flip it: heads = win, tails = lose.
That’s binary, like a light switch... on or off.
But when they toss the coin keeps saying heads, heads, heads, a total of 92 times!

In a fair world, it should go win-lose, win-lose.
Instead, it’s stuck on win. The game is broken.
The play whispers: “Your life is binary too, but someone already chose the switch... and we are all waiting for a draw and the coin to land on its edge”

Now think of Lucky’s hat in Waiting for Godot.
Hat on = talk. Hat off = silence.
Another binary switch. Put it on, words pour out. Take it off, silence. It looks like the hat decides, but it’s just a rule in the play. No real magic. Just on/off.

Football points work the same silly way.
11 points after 10 games? Grown-ups say:
11 = safe (on)
less = relegation (off).

But that’s pretending the switch is glued.
The season still has 28 flips left... there are injuries, suspensions, opposition, sackings to figure into the equation. It can go win-lose, win-lose... or suddenly lose, lose, lose. Coins, hats, points... they’re all binary toys.

Leeds are blindfolded and asked to pick jelly beans from a jar, blue for victory, red for defeat. and a pride coloured bean for a draw. The choice is no longer binary. They have picked 3 blue beans so far... 4 red beans... and 3 rainbow coloured pride beans.

The jar is still full of jelly beans... and there is no way of knowing what we will pick.

Would have been one of the goals of the season.

I did say on the Burnley match day thread, Aaronson is a far better & more effective footballer than Jack Harrison.

I'm not surprised, the second-half was a difficult watch.

I suspect Bijol was prought in to start and Bornaauw to cover.

Pascal would have been one of the players earmarked to go, probably alog with Gnonto, if we had to bring in money for one of those more expensive signings.

Thought we were sloppy all game, luck West Ham were so bad but second half was painful. Farke not impressed me with his subs, seem to totally lose shape and composure afterwards.

A section of our fan base don't realise how much damage DCL does on his own up front.

Calvert-Lewin was brought in for his physicality, which was required at the level.

Poor in the second-half, nevertheless our fans sang his name with that feeble shot in the first-half.

Imagine the stick DCL or Aaronson would have received for such poor technique.

DCL does what Paddy used to do for Bielsa ... make life difficult for defenders. I've no problem with DCL starting.
