Not a fan of playing players in positions that they are not geared to playing, square peg in a round hole comes to mind. Also Out of our current 3 cb's starting Bijol is the least effective with passing the ball
Passing is not the biggest criteria of a DM. Reading the play and being able to step into the defence if needed are more useful as they can pass to other midfielders to do the passing. As a back-up though if Ampadu, Gruev. Stach and Tanaka were all injured, or suspended, I wouldn't be too worried about Bijol in there.
A DM would not be the near the top of my shopping list if I were shopping for players to enhance the Leeds team in the short term. A bit like buying a sausage for boxing day dinner when you still have turkey, beef, pork and chicken left over.

Joseph - what planet are you on. He could not even do it in the championship
As to Midfielder - we have quantity but not not enough quality
Just saying he is a more likely option than us bringing in a third No9. If you believe we will I doubt your realism.
As for the midfield what you said maybe true but we won't bring in another dm.

It's click bait but it's what this thread is for... Good player McKennie but he ain't coming here unless hell freezes over
Well it is pretty cold in Manchester this time of year!
YES!! I'm living in SCARBADOS!! Underneath the palm trees!
What I like about that picture of him heading the ball is that he's actually kneeling down and the players head that's up to his waist is 6 foot two and standing on 4 biscuit tins......sign him up

Wonder who joins us on Friday. should we get one of the top scorers in the Coventry team
Why would we do that? We have last year's top scorer from the championship, a scored that has been consistent for years, but is deemed by many as not good enough. So why by someone who is having a good season.
Doubt Coventry would be looking to derail their promotion push too.
January is generally only a time to snap up players who clubs want to get rid off rather than players doing well for teams doing well.

According to a report from The Daily Mail on Sunday, Leeds United are prepared to sign Nottingham Forest's English midfielder James McAtee. Chelsea are also reportedly ready to make a move for the 23-year-old. McAtee, who joined Nottingham Forest from Manchester City in a £30 million deal, has not been a regular starter this season. His contract at the club runs until June 2030. The midfielder has 24 caps and 8 goals for the England U21 team and has a current Transfermarkt market value of €23.00m.

Forest won't/can't take a loss, would be a good signing for the future though. Would be like us selling Geo after his first half season for half price.

All academic as we don't have £30m or anywhere near that amount of money

Players in the championship even the top couple at xmas would be interested in joining a bigger team in our league.
Leeds need a great summer 2026 with outgoings and incoming players
