Wow - I think that's a bit premature, with West Ham and Forest now going well....
I do agree that a win tonight (which will be very difficult to obtain IMO) would be a real mental blow to all the teams around us.
Come on Leeds

Everton have potentially 8 first team players out.
Grealish
Gueye
Dewsbury-Hall
Branthwaite
Iroegbunam
Keane
Alcaraz
Ndiaye
Atleast half of those probably start if fit.
So we are already at a significant advantage in theory

I will be very happy with a point.
3 points would be an amazing result - tough place to go against a team who are solid this season. They have ground out some decent results at home and have also been soundly beaten on a few occasions by Brentford, Spurs and Newcastle so I am not without hope for 3 points. Fingers crossed they have an off day and we are at it.

Getting a point at Everton will be no easy task. I think 3 is asking too much, hopefully im proved wrong. Can see this being in a similar vein to the Fulham games. They beat us when they didnt deserve to with a late fluky own goal, but we got our own back with a late winner at ER. We beat Everton when a draw was probably a fairer result, so its their turn to even things up.
Take a point and run

No Okafor, very defensive line up.

Not even on the bench

Evening all.
That bench picks itself these days.
Glad to see Stach retains his place.

We concede an average of 2.18 goals away from home ( 1.18 at home ) and have kept 1 clean sheet in 11 away games - so clearly we need to try and defend better away from home.

We've conceded 10 goals in the first half of our 11 away games, and 14 in the second half. So we need to be wary of late goals again - especially in injury time.

9 defensive players, that's more than Big Sam fielded when we needed to win 3-0 to stay up
Good to see Stach back in the team, but where's the creativity coming from?
Could be pretty dour, cos Moyes is pretty risk averse as well.

We'll get to see if the recruitment team's "wisdom" in gambling on Gudmunsson being available for 38 matches is valid.
Over to you James Justin, I hope he does well, cos our left wing has been a rich source of goals for our opponents.
