Didn't work though did it. Did we sit back when 1-0 v Forest, or at 1-0 v Palace?Orange Box wrote: ↑Tue Feb 10, 2026 9:56 pm Watching West Ham defend a goal lead. Are they sitting back and playing deep? No they are not. Take note Leeds coaching team

"Rosenior angry about Leeds’ equaliser
Six minutes, six minutes of switching off. We were in complete control of the game. I don’t want to talk about the football we played if we want to get to where we want to be we have to make sure we’re switched on for 90 minutes, simple as that.
It’s devastating. Some of the football we played was excellent and we should have come away with three points but we haven’t and we gift Leeds a point.
Even at 2-1 we have to take the sting out of the game. Whether we think it was handball or not, we’re still in control of the game. You kick the ball away and then ask for handball. [But we switched off]. At the time I thought it was handball but I haven’t seen it back. If there’s any contact it should have been disallowed but I haven’t seen it back to make that judgment.
[They said it was non-deliberate]. The rule is the rule. From my understanding of there’s any hand ball in the lead up to the goal then it has to be disallowed. If they’ve said that, then someone please explain the rules to me. You saying that has got me angrier because that’s unacceptable "

I still think that Spurs are far more likely to go down than West Ham.

It's where we're different. I have respect for former players that gave a lot for this club

Just can't imagine them going down. When was the last time they were relegated?CHAPELALLMAN wrote: ↑Tue Feb 10, 2026 10:21 pm I still think that Spurs are far more likely to go down than West Ham.

I’d say it’s all but impossible for spurs to go down - they’ll get players back and kick onCHAPELALLMAN wrote: ↑Tue Feb 10, 2026 10:21 pm I still think that Spurs are far more likely to go down than West Ham.

Re: Chelsea v Leeds United Match Thread
What about 0-0 v Fulham away. Or 2-1 v Bournemouth? Don’t we have the worst record in the league for conceding late goals?
A better striker than Wilson and West Ham could have been 3 up before a freak equalising goal. Leeds don’t look good sitting back in defence, was my point. Ask Cole Palmer. Our game is front foot best.
I could have bided my time until the final whistle before I posted that - or not, as the case would be - 20/20 hindsight is a wonderful thing.
Anyway, if you look back a couple of pages you’ll see how I responded to my own post.

Any team can go down! Including Brighton/Spurs etc. We were 'too good to go down' in 2004 remember and see how that panned out? We have not recovered since...
