Why was Farke red carded?

I have seen zero criticism of Farke and very little for any player. Is this a record??
Yes but on the other hand, if we’d been winning…

Anyway

Leeds United manager Daniel Farke receives red card from referee Peter Bankes during home defeat to Manchester City and plans appeal using ref cam footage

Last updated

Daniel Farke was sent off by referee Peter Bankes after confronting him over time-wasting and key decisions in Leeds United's 1-0 loss to Manchester City at home. Leeds United intends to appeal the red card, requesting review of 'ref cam' footage. Fans also debated a non-awarded penalty for handball by a Manchester City player, which was not reviewed by VAR.

Start Dallas dropped a bit in my estimation after a very pro Man city stance after the game...

What did he say?

Down to 14th in the last 10 form table. Spuds are last now with 4 from their last 30 points. Burnley, Forest, Wolves, Palace and Sunderland all below us. West Ham have closed the gap by one point over the last 10

Manure lead the table

You almost feel that City asked for it so Pep could see how we set up and then make changes during the break. No good reason to have that break at all
Those as well.

Religion causes death & destruction worldwide.
And anyway why shouldn’t anyone have time out in a game for their beliefs. Its a very diverse subject.
If my belief involves stroking a hamster once a month at an allotted day/time then why shouldn’t I.

I could easily fall out with the game I love.

Oh, how football has changed, sadly for the worse!
Thankfully we had Bielsa who made us fall in love with football again - football played the right way and in the right spirit. Hopefully we as a team and fanbase will always play the right way.

Everyone is happy then.
I think they were booing the stoppage rather than Ramadan.
I suspect you are right especially with Pep doing his coaching at a point when we were in control - in the same way he did in the previous game.

It is ludicrous to stop at the exact point where it goes dark. So if it was the 44th minute of the game would it have stopped?

He probably feels that as a sky pundit it will harm his chances of making more appearances if he shows his Leeds bias and as such is probably over compensating.

Sky create the whole issue by moving the kick off time in the first place. If you can move it back two and a half hours for tv, why not move it back two and three quarters to avoid all this ?

Even though Ampadu wasn't up to his usual standard.

Ethan made the most ball recoveries (11) and covered the largest distance of any player involved for either side at Elland Road yesterday (12.45km).

So the dark side & not the Farke side.
