A solid performance from our back up players yesterday especially as most of them have only had limited game time this season. Too good for the Championship but are we strong enough for the PL is now the question ?
Bijol surely now comes back into consideration for a starting role with Nmencha likewise.
Longstaff, Gnonto, DJ & Piroe will all have to bide their time but at least look ready if needed.

Simply back-up only.
Bijol is the one who should be seriously considered for a return to our first XI.

Hmmm. Bit of a stretch that for me. Yes they did OK in this match but they need a run of games in the First team and the prospect of them getting in any time soon is remote given that those already in are chugging along, holding steady and the DFs reluctance to tinkerJammy 07 wrote: ↑Mon Mar 09, 2026 10:46 am A solid performance from our back up players yesterday especially as most of them have only had limited game time this season. I still have to watch a replay of this match yet.
Three Bowls matches, the Cheltenham Festival, plus other things in life cramping my usual procedure.
May watch this evening.
Still have to make a MOTM decision.....Bijol, Gudmundsson, Nmecha, etc
