I just want to say what a great refereeing performance from Paul Tierney today! Didn't bottle it and bend over for the greedy six like most would.

For the last 10 mins that was probably the first time since I was 10 that I wanted to hide behind the sofa.

Massive, monumental and magnificent three points.

Most importantly - he started Tanaka.

Impressed that by and large the ploddyball was kept to a minimum and felt the subs helped.

God knows how Aaronson stayed on as long as he did though, he must have been in double figures for losing the ball

His pressing is a big part of the way we play, but my god, the amount of times he gave the ball away

Was all doom and gloom on Friday evening, but now same gap with West Ham, two points gained on Forest and Spurs are in the mud.

It’s making me nervous how the commentators etc keep talking about wolves and Burnley like it’s 6 points guaranteed- we all know better than that and won’t be counting any chickens.

My favourite two players are Stach and Tanaka. The midfield should be built around them.

Hhhm those rose tinted glasses for your favourites, ignoring completely the time where Gnonto needlesddly lost it allowing MU to break dangerously. For me Gnonto is more of an impact sub to create something different, and a threat, or even to try to help us get a goal to put a game to bed, but not to hold onto the ball when we are in front.

I posted it prior to the match, but I had a weird sense of calm about this one.

Farke seems to bring him on to keep hold of the ball and see it our but that's not his game. Much rather see him bursting down the wing and into the box.
