I rate Carrick as a manager, he's turned Manure around this season which is a really tough job. Doesn't mean I like him, as I posted elsewhere it was a strange interview and completely unexpected for me.

I've posted numerous times that I love Farke the man, it's his tactics I have issue with. I used to work with someone who was one of the best people I've met, generous, incredibly friendly, would drop everything to help a friend, would always stop to help a stranger needing help.. But really bad decorator, the amount of times I had to go back over and redo his work.

I can seperate the man from his job..

I felt Carrick was very unsporting & it stank of sour grapes to me.

I thought he was better behaved than Pep, Arteta, Slot, Klopp, Rosenior, Tuchel, Fergie & all the coaches who manage the top teams, maybe not!

The only Manure manager to deal with the pressure at the club in 50 odd years is Alex Fergusson, we think Leeds is a pressure job but we've had a few that have dealt with it in that time span, From Revie through Wilko, O'Leary and Bielsa to Farke

Within hours of Carrick losing, his job is under threat, this his first defeat at OT, and now Nagglesman is linked for next season.. As I say I thought the Manure owner looked like he was about to tear his manager a new one last night during the game

I think there must be some sort of badge or medal of honor for who blocks the most people

I think it says more about those that do the blocking than those its aimed at

If it's that much of a stress being on this forum that you have to block / attack people etc., you should bugger off and do something else that is better for your psyche is what i think

But managers moaning or making excuses after a defeat is normal

Well you could add fuel to the whole damnation of Farke thing by leading people to the stats table that is circulating showing Farke's stats Vs Bielsa for their first 100 games.

Farke's numbers are stronger, no question. The main comparative difference I see is the context of their respective situations. Bielsa picked up a basket case of a squad that was heading no where and turned damn average players in to world beaters. We nearly had Luke Ayling in the England team!

I think Bielsa's stubborn single minded force of nature approach was needed to kick start the club from the life support it had been on for over 10 years. Farke has taken the post Jessie mess and handled it brilliantly. The comparisons are tricky because of the different context. Without Bielsa we wouldn't have Farke. Without Bielsa I can see us still languishing around the mid upper part of the champo. Without the steadier balance of Farke we would already be relegated.
