Re: Tottenham pre match chat
I loved Riemer's answer to the question :
At one point of the season did you think we'd be competitive enough to play in the Premier League.
Answer : Game one.

Fully expect WH to win tomorrow - this season refuses to be easy.

A leopard can't change its spots... but Spurs can change managers, coaches, and owners... and still end up in the exact same spot. They are doomed

That was a comment I heard on a ferry in Melbourne. Two young girls with their mum watching dolphins. One said “I saw them first.” The other replied “I saw them first as well.”
Perfect.

It's in our interests to relegate Spurs.GreennWhite wrote: ↑Sun May 10, 2026 7:05 pmMaybe King Farke can give a few of the frings players a run out, for being so loyal all season . Of course there will be all the usual nonsense talked about finishing off the season well and getting as high up the table as we can but we have achieved our goal of staying up, thats all that mattered. If we dont finish the season well i wouldnt be surprised, but any more points we can get will do nicely.
WH have huge financial issues on the horizon and over the summer they will need to offload their better players, that suits us next season.
So beating beating Spurs and losing to WH would be acceptable if ithelps them over the line.
Imo

Re: Tottenham pre match chat
We have achieved what (most of us anyway) wanted which was to avoid relegation. From this point in it matters not a jot about the others teams are doing / not doing etc. We have 3 more games and I would hope that DF will do whatever is best for LUFC in the build up and the kick off to next season. This is where the preparation starts and if that does not work for or suit other teams, it a case of Tough Cheddar Buster! We can just chill out and watch the proceedings for the rest of the season in peaceGreennWhite wrote: ↑Sun May 10, 2026 7:05 pmMaybe King Farke can give a few of the frings players a run out, for being so loyal all season . Gabi is definitely out for Spurs. Didnt see Pascal in team training video either - he has a hip probelm and frankly has looked exhausted in the last couple - he leaves nothing out on the pitch. The Subhuman wrote: ↑Thu May 07, 2026 7:44 am He was in training I think. simple Justin for Gudds substitution though
So my starting 11 is:
Darlow
Bornaauw
Bijol
Rodon
Bogle
Tanaka
Ampadu
Stach
justin
Nmecha
Calvert-Lewin

Re: Tottenham Hotspur v Leeds United Match Thread
Every position higher up the table we finish is with a few million in extra revenues.
We play to beat Spurs just because they're Spurs.
We play to beat Briggton in our final home game - for the fans.
We play to beat West Ham to finish the season on a high.
As Farke said - no taking the foot off the gas.
