It's funny how many pretend they always had faith and criticise those who have stood by their opinions.
As you well know, I’ve always had faith in Farke and have maintained that stance throughout his tenure.

Others may feel differently, fair enough, the forum would be a boring place if we agreed on everything, but criticism (rather than debate) of folk with different opinions is ridiculous.

Any team in the prem, even City, Arsenal, Liverpool etc can have a bad run over a few matches. Emery's Villa were in rlegation trouble early on, did they panic, no because they knew they had a good manager. Hopefully at some point some of our fans will actually realise our manager has done a pretty decent job.
Nobody turned against him?

Everyone but a select few idiots absolutely saw it coming, just read the forum. . . . . .

Once he played the system these idiots had said from the start it all clicked (shockingly) :)

He's done a decent job, he needs to stick by this system now for good.

Wasn't aiming it at you.

Just get a bit bored of all the "we all saw this coming" stuff.

Many many many didn't but change their view now because it's the popular opinion.

Running away from a p*ssed off Leopard seems a quite sensible idea.

DCL popped up in a discussion on Talksport about Cristiano Ronaldo

“Cristiano Ronaldo is 100% not better than Ollie Watkins. If Cristiano Ronaldo was English, I’d have Danny Welbeck ahead of him. Calvert-Lewin is a better footballer today than Cristiano Ronaldo.”

An interesting opinion.

CR had a decent season just finished. He cored a total of 28 goals in the Saudi Pro League

Dominic Calvert-Lewin scored 14 goals in all competitions during the 2025/26 season (13 in the Premier League

DCl works harder and probably occupies the defenders better because Ronaldo is totally immobile these days.

Finishing wise Ronaldo.

We're not comparing the Saudi pro league with the premier now are we, CR wouldn't get ten in the prem unless his team gets 8 penalties and he takes them

I am going to put this out there ......do we think DCL can have the same season as last season ?,my opinion is I don't think so past history says not I hope he does have a good season .
We need proper comp in that position because if he doesn't hit the ground running somebody has got to be waiting in the wings .

I very much doubt DCL will be our main striker next season.

14 +1 = 15 in all.

If we get the right type of striker in then I see the new guy and DCL sharing the workload next season. So if they can get 10 goals or so apiece we'd be taking a step in the right direction.

Some light whispers if Welbeck leaves Brighton may look to sign Calvert-Lewin

Can't see it myself but whispers nevertheless

Was mentioned on the Brighton forum as well
