Me too, then they can pay top dollar for Willy with all that Champions League money they’ll have falling out of their pockets.

Re: West Ham pre match chat
I really really want to see Spurs go down. As someone said, it would shake up the league, take out a major competitor of ours next year's and leave a weak West Ham alongside 3 weak promoted teams for us to finish ahead of next year. What villa did by gifting 3 points to spurs was criminal and really the only reason they're ahead... I'm conflicted ! I also want see us finish as high and as strong as possible.... Tactically and for funsies the best thing for us is spurs go down

Re: West Ham pre match chat
I think we will win Leon and the extra cash is nice.
But, with a long term view I'd prefer Spurs to go down, and that means us and Spurs losing.
West Ham are in turmoil anyway, so better for us if they stay up and that's then 4 teams we're liable to take 6 points of next season, for starters.
Spurs are a greedy 6 club, so I want them to suffer. De Zerbi is likely to have them playing better next season, and their injured players will be back, so they will be more of a threat to our progress.
I'm still not convinced West Ham can help themselves on Sunday though, even if Spurs get beat. We will likely be without Gruev, Guds, Bogle, Okafor and Stach. West Ham fans are planning a big protest against Sullivan, and a lot of them are resigned to relegation and think it's necessary for their club to reset itself.

I may be wrong but I suspect that the PL are desperate for Spuds to stay up - it could be that this will be the first time we get the benefit of 50/50 decisions.

We will beat Wham. Desperate times for them with a win their only chance. Spurs were pretty average v Chelsea. Maddison way off his best although a great impersonation of Modric. That’s Modric playing after 12 pints of Leffe Blonde mind you.
So I will go Spurs draw/Leeds win double.

That was a big VAR call last night when Cucurella got booked for a foul in the box but no penalty as the ball hadn’t been struck yet at the corner. Probably only a split second in it so fair play to VAR for once.Tom the Cat wrote: ↑Wed May 20, 2026 9:26 am I may be wrong but I suspect that the PL are desperate for Spuds to stay up - it could be that this will be the first time we get the benefit of 50/50 decisions.

I think this whole season we've had the benefit from the refs and VAR... starting with the Everton pen.Tom the Cat wrote: ↑Wed May 20, 2026 9:26 am I may be wrong but I suspect that the PL are desperate for Spuds to stay up - it could be that this will be the first time we get the benefit of 50/50 decisions.

I think we can only climb two places with Fulham playing Newcastle- they can’t both lose. A draw would mean us having to beat WH by 4 but score at least 5 to go above Newcastle.

I am ... we've had the benefit way more times than not. I get we like to play the victims like most clubs fans but this season it's just not been the case.

We are second in pens given for goodness sake... Does no one recall the days of going two seasons without a pen? I don't think we've conceded many either but not checked that stat
I can think of Bijol's idiocy which was about a pen as you could get

Wasn't claiming we have been the victims for the entire season, just pointing out imo, we haven't benefited for the entire season either. It's not just about the award of penalties. The Subhuman wrote: ↑Wed May 20, 2026 12:40 pm I am ... we've had the benefit way more times than not. 3/1 Bet365
Seems big to me.
Wham have absolutely no option but to win.
Will suit us I think.
And with the Spurs draw pays 14/1
