Most of the country will now want Hull to win it but Sod’s Law says it’ll be Boro. Hull will then put in an appeal which will prolong the stih show but go nowhere and the only winners will be a team that weren’t good enough to progress through the semi’s. Bah.

I want Boro to win. I don't think they've done anything wrong and are a better more entertaining team

And ok the fact i have a bet on them for promotion may have a little bit to do with it

Boro do not deserve to be in the Final as they lost.

Maybe not entirely fair and square but when was football ever that.

I don't really think that Hull deserve promotion though for finishing 6th and winning a playoff semi.

In the other semi final one team was disqualified and so the other goes to the final. That's normal

Joffy, McBurnie (unsure why he isn't in the Scottish WC squad), Belloumi, & Slater have all had a very good season

Boro' got to Wembley through the back door.

If the Middleborough situation had happened to us we would have accepted it very happily. I personally think the punishment was too harsh for Southampton.

We'll disagree on that one... I do know some hate 6th placed teams doing well but it's the rule and the playoffs are a money stream for an impoverished Football League. 6th will seem high next season when the 8th placed team could go up

I don't agree with Southampton's expulsion, as far as I'm aware it's an arbitary punishment as there's no punishment guidelines so it seems the nuclear option. I'd have thought a very large fine, if Southampton went up or points/transfer embargo had they stayed down with a lesser fine.

I think Boro will win it, player for player they have a better team but that doesn't necessarily mean they will.
