I used to go to Harrogate a lot in the 80's and early 90's Leon. Me and Mum shopping and then to Betty's for a Yorkshire rascal. It was a pain then with the busy roads, one way system and car park....I can imagine how awful it must be now with so many cars on the road now....BIG vehicles as well, everyone seems to like driving tanks these days. You can imagine what it's like in the summer down our lane.

Big cars are popular because we live in a fatties (as Jaydog often mentions) nation, also many women driving them, which is frightening on our narrow roads up here.

Not if just your wire snaps
We (me/wife/daughter) went on Zip World Phoenix down here, well just north of Aberdare, back in 2021. It was fantastic, but it’s over too quick. The one you’re going on is head first, Superman style isn’t it, so no doubt you get more speed up than Phoenix, which you go down in a sitting harness.

Yes head first in a sleeping bag thing.
I think its one go on the little zip before one go on the big one. 100 mph top speed.

We’ve never done the boat tour on the North Coast so headed off today, lovely weather & calm seas on the way to The Skerries, islands off Portrush, Dunluce Castle & The Giants Causeway
