Denmark should remove Ericksen from their squad and send him home. All that "it might upset the team" etc., bollocks should be put to one side. Need to protect the player from himself seems like. God forbid he should die wearing that shirt........

A neighbour, and friend of mine, died last week of a heart attack, no warning, nothing. He’s gone, leaving 3 kids behind.

As you say, Eriksen has had his second warning, just retire and enjoy your life.

Senior moment - I thought Denmark were playing a pre World Cup friendly not realising they did not even quality Anyway, time for him to hang up his boots and club and country should make him take his leave if in fact he wants to stubbornly carry on playing

You'd hope someone would say enough is enough.

He can't need the money, he's nothing left to prove. He came back when nobody thought he would and played on at the top level.

He's footballing royalty in his country, record appearance maker.
