Also, but not connected, the Wedding Present last Friday in Huddersfield and in December at Holmfirth.
The Brudenell is a great little venue, try & catch a gig there when I’m over for a game.

Just bought my ticket for Friday night of the Philgood Festival here at the rowing canal in Plovdiv on July 17th 8-)

The Cure, Wolf Alice, The Subways and Just Mustard = 105 Euros

I first saw The Cure touring for Faith in 1981 at Newcastle City Hall and think it was only a fiver for a ticket.

Can't wait :)

The Cure are on in Cardiff next Wednesday (24th)….an outdoor show at Blackweir Fields, which is 10 mins away for me.

Weighing up a late ticket for that; or, Metallica at the Principality Stadium next Sunday (28th) 🤔

I saw The Cure four x in the 80s and 90s and great every time. They won't let you down MTC.

Even though I like metal, especially A7X, Metallica aren't really my cuppa.

Ges tells me I absolutely have to go see All Them Witches

Problem is the closest they got is Chalk and it's not the best place for someone with my issues. I could have stood at the back and watched it on the big screen

I'd imagine they're on stage this minute

Blueneck I will absolutely go see, not sure it's logistically possible for them to tour anymore though. Duncan Atwood had a stroke a while back and his voice gives out every now and again. And Blueneck is all about those vocals

Yep, will wander down soon.

Tbh, not overly bothered with The Joy Formidable or The Twilight Sad…..and given it’s absolutely boiling (not sure how RS’s make-up will cope :) ) I may not catch them. Think The Cure are on 8ish, I think. Looking forward to it.

I think I mentioned in the earlier post it was a Cure or Metallica (on Sunday in the Principality Stadium) choice….but, I have also now got a Metallica ticket as well 👍 so a busy gig week.

Sounds great 👍

He's gonna look like Chrissie Hynde 😂

She usually has rivers of Mascara running down her face, like some Gothic stigmata 😂

It's gonna be up to 34c here next week, so I'm hoping it doesn't get up to 40c or above that by July 17th, cos that's too much for me, but not unusual for here in summer 🌞

Metallica should be great too, just a group I never really got into.

Marilyn Manson is here a week after The Cure, but we're spending every cent getting our new apartment finished, so can't justify me being back on the gig wagon.

But the way groups are playing here now I'll defo be doing lots of gigs here in the future.
